J. D. Holm & Sons

We invited J.D. Holm to evaluate feasibility and cost estimate of the design we envisioned for our kitchen, restroom and laundry room. They also installed a European style window.
J.D. Holm has been very responsive about what was feasible, reasonable and provided a cost estimate that was accurate. They completely implemented our design and did a great job communicating any questions along the way. Their work was top notch and every one was great to work with. We are very happy with the results and would hire them again.

Jay's crew painted my wrought iron porch railing last year that had not been touched for 20+ years. They did a great job ... but the final color did not turn out as expected. Jay corrected the color and within a day (or 2 at the most) had his crew come and paint another coat with this new color - Perfect Match! He knows we are having new porch carpet and said they will touch up any nicks on the paint after that project. He also caulked an area that had been giving me problems and it solved my concerns. I was pleased.

They came out to check my house for a leak in the roof that caused internal damage. Jay went up on the roof, looked over everything and was successful at finding the leak. He then went ahead and repaired the leak, free of charge. He also suggested I repair my chimney cap and how I could do it. I have known Jay and his brother Terry for years, and they have done great work for family members and friends. This was my first experience and oh what a great one. He asked me to wait and see if there is any more damage, just to make sure we have been successful. He didn't want to repair the inside room, and then have it damaged again. He was successful at helping me in my time of need. Thank you Jay and Terry. You guys Rock!

J.D. Holm & Sons has delivered comprehensive contracting services for our family for many years.
Jay, Owner and General Manager, and his team most recently completed an update of our home which included; removing wallpaper, replacing light fixtures, removing and installing carpet flooring, and patching and painting walls. This effort was delivered flawlessly i.e. within the agreed upon timeframe, budget and scope. Some key factors we valued in working with J.D. Holm:
Responsiveness. The project was completed within a timely manner from the initial request. All of our calls, emails and texts were returned!!

This recent home update is not our first project with J.D. Holm. We have taken full advantage of their broad contract service offerings over the years. Past projects have included kitchen, bath and laundry room updates, house painting and a landscaping/deck refresh. We continue to return to J. D. Holm time and time again as they have earned our trust through their consummate professionalism.

We hired J. D. Holm & Sons for a bathroom renovation and they did a great job. Very professional, excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. The project was delayed due to damaged tiles (manufacturer at fault) - Barb and Jay worked really hard to get through this difficulty. In the end, the project came out beautifully - would certainly hire again and also recommend to friends.
