They picked up a dresser to have it painted In the process they broke it, tried to cover it up They admitted to what they did, offered $and to fix it, but then never came through with that Note, they charged me over $to paint this furniture: Email string below

I am very sorry about any damage that occurred and completely agree it should have been fixed better and discussed from the beginningWe have let the delivery guys who damaged the piece go a while ago so I've been trying to work out exactly what happened to get a clearer idea
From what I was able to work out with our finishers it was damaged upon being brought back after the initial delivery attempt so they created the new baseThis is not an acceptable base and I know we can create the wood to match the original piece if we bring it back and redo the bottom
I will make sure that myself and Jeffery, our production and delivery manager oversee this and that it turns out correctlyI can also

Really awful experience with Meg, and MegMadeI ordered a custom dresser for about $ The initial experience was great - good communication and happy with the ordering process Unfortunately, it went downhill after that The dresser shipped about one month late, after writing them multiple times (unanswered about a third of the time) Finally arrived and there was considerable differences in the stain quality with blemishes on out of drawers and a sizeable nick on the side of the top I contacted them, and they told me they'd send a toukit (which they never sent)the issue with the blemishes and stain was far more difficult I sent multiple pictures, and basically our routine was sending images, no response, sending a follow-up, Meg not available that day but might be available the nextno response, more pictures Finally, after months and multiple negative interactions, they had the drawers picked up for restaining They did that work and scheduled d

Bathroom backsplash was partially replaced due to mold. Mold now reappearing and seam peeling. Over a month, not able to get ahold of Duenas to fix.August 2012: bathroom completly redone: new bathtub, new backsplash, tile flooring. Work done by [redacted] (partner at that time with Duenas). Early Dec 2012 "greying" on backsplash started due to improper sealing. Jan 2013 called numerous times with no response. Mid Feb 2013 recieved a notice from Duenas that [redacted] was no longer with them. Continued to try calling number provided, no answer due to "mail-box full". Emails sent, no response. April we FINALLY got action and Jamie Duenas came by to see what needed done stating "We stand by our work". After a 2 week period we again tried calling due to ne action. Once again "mailbox full" and no response to emails. After a final threat of Revdex.com Jamie contacted us and FINALLY came out Aug 12 2013 to correct the mold/backsplash problem. Against our wishes he did not replace the entire backsplash but bleached part and stated "this will be ok". By the first week of Sep 2013 the "bleached" section was showing signs of mold and the sealant was coming off. We contacted Jamie who came out on Sept 10 to see what was going on and said he would be out the following week to correct it. By Sept 15 we are once again trying to contact Duenas, mailbox full, no response to emails. We are continuing to try getting ahold of him but still full mailbox. The mold is spreading quickly and the sealant is pulling away from the wall. It has become so bad that we are contacting other contractors to come in and redo the whole backsplash. To date we are still unable to get ahold of Jamie Duenas (mailbox full, no response to emails). Having already spent over $1600.00 to have the bathroom done we can only hope it won't cost as much to have it done right!Desired SettlementSince we are being forced to have the work redone, a full refund of $1600.00 is being sought. We placed our faith in J Duenas to not only do good work but to stand by the work done and take care of any problems. We did not anticipate the "disappearance" of J Duenas.Business Response I talked to [redacted] and I offer to pay half of the expense she did for correcting the problem in the bathroom. [redacted] first agreed to take the $400.00 , but before we hung up she told me to keep my money and that she wasn't going to except that. I told [redacted] that I was trying to make it right for both of us since she didn't have any paperwork and I didn't either and she says [redacted] did the work under my name and I don't have any paperwork saying that I did it so I was just trying to make it fair for her and for me. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Jamie Duenas did in fact contact me and offered $400.00 compensation. Originally I accepeted but as the conversation continued Mr. Duenas pretty much said "If you call Revdex.com I will send you $400.00". I felt as if I was being bribed! The total cost of have the work redone was almost $900.00 and I feel his company should compensate the entire amount. The fact that he has no paperwork is NOT and excuse! The fact that I have no paperwork should not excuse the SHODDY, unacceptable work done and repeatedly being ignored for necessary repairs. The issue of "correcting" what could have been minor repairs turned into contacting another contractor to correct the work and thus put us out of pocket another $900.00. Mr Duenas needs to stand up and take responsibility that [redacted] WAS with his company when this was done and that Mr Duenas should stand by his initial work (shoddy as it was).
