I used JDuncanson Roofing to install a metal roof on my lake home and they did a fantastic job! They were very hard workers that cleaned up every day and left me with a beautiful black tile roof on my home that had all my neighbors jealous! I would not only recommend them I'll be using them again on other homes I own as well!
After being solicited by Joshua ***, a JDuncanson Supervisor, JDuncanson Roofing was contracted to remove our existing metal roof and install a replacement metal roof. The new roof was installed poorly. Most, if not all, of the roof was installed incorrectly as per the manufacturers installation manual and good, common sense. I also believe that there is a considerable amount of fault in the design of the roof. The "Terrabella" roof is manufactured by ***.,Miami, FL XXXXX. Their telephone number is (XXX) XXX-XXXX. The Terrabella roofing tiles are engineered to fit together in a very specific way and they were not installed in that fashion. There are huge gaps between the roof tiles where there should be none. The tiles that had to be "Cut To Fit" were cut in a very rough and jagged manner. Some were cut too long. Some were cut too short. Most were cut incorrectly to achieve a proper fit. This poor workmanship and design also translated into crooked lines on both the roofs ridgelines and valleys. I have had another roofing company inspect the roof as JDuncanson had left it. This company is in agreement with me on the poor installation of the roof and the less than adequate engineering that went into the design of the roof. It has come to my attention that this roof is a very new roof on the market. Something we were not told at the time of purchase. I have also found out that many if not all of the this style roof, installed before, during and after the installation of our roof, have had serious problems with all of the same issues as ours. Another fact that we were not told about at time of purchase. All in all our roof is an inferior product that does not perform as advertised, installed in a huge rush, in 100 degree plus weather by workers that were not properly trained, not supplied with the proper tools to do the job, did not take the time to do the job correctly and/or simply did not care if it was done correctly.

Refund JDuncanson Roofing has proved that they are not a reliable or trustworthy company that has no problem supplying poor materials and workmanship. All efforts to have our roof installed properly and professionally by them have failed miserably. The company, saleman and owner will not answer or return my phone calls or texts. JDuncanson should be teaming with me to resolve the problem, not fighting against me. I need a refund to start again with a roofing company that will do the job properly.
