I took my 2006 Jaguar S Type to J. Foreign Auto Repair at *** for the rebuild of the transmission in March 2017. I spoke to the owner *** S. and his son about the rebuild of the transmission. They advised me that they would rebuild it for $1,500. I gave them $800 to begin working on the rebuild of the transmission and about 3 weeks later they advised me that I would need a brand new transmission because they didn't know how to rebuild it. At that point I wanted to get my vehicle back from them because they were unable to complete the job that I had requested. I also wanted the return of my $800 because they failed to perform the work we had orally agreed to. I had another person that was able to rebuild it and I wanted to take my vehicle there. The owner refused to give me my car and wanted me to pay him another $700 dollars for a job that he had not done, and that he didn't know how to do. The owner was refusing to rebuild the transmission. He was wanting me to give him more money to purchase a brand new transmission, which I had not previously contracted to do.

I have tried talking to the owner several times throughout the past year, about returning my car but they have refused. I've called, texted and visited the location. Again, he has failed to rebuild my transmission as he orally agreed to do. In December 2017 I tried to get help from the FW Police Department to get my vehicle back. At that time the owner advised me that I owed over $6,450 in storage fees which I had also never agreed to pay. He told me that I could get my car fixed at another location but that I would need to pay $6,450 for storage fees to get my car released. He also said that they would not charge me the storage fee if I allowed them to fix my car for the amount of $2,100, instead of the $1,500 originally agreed to. Again, this new amount includes the fees for purchasing a new transmission, and they are not wanting to rebuild my transmission as originally agreed to.

Also, while my vehicle was at their shop, they ruined the back seat of my vehicle. It looks like they left tools and oil pans in the back seat of the car. There is now a big hole in the middle of my back seat. When I took my car to this location it had no damage to the back seat.
