*BBB has reopened this complaint due to the information below:***, I was supposed to receive the photos today, I heard nothing from her since she said she would bring them so I reached out to ask if she intended to bring them as she said she would and she simply said is going to Dallas. I asked if she intended to reschedule and she never responded, so at this point I believe trying to get them has me on a hamster wheel because I'm getting nowhere. ***

This client is making up things as she gets deeper into this storyShe never waited month(s) for anything from meI provided exceptional service with shooting her,photos and editing themStyling her clothing that I purchased and her make up provided by a professional make up artist tired by me.The Book cover was added later and does not have a turn around dateOnly photoshoots.You have to book 6-weeks in advance with me, because I have a high demand of clientele which fills my schedule weeks in advance,therefore,the day she purchased her shoot is not the day she shotShe's attempting to manipulate the situation.She picked her image and wording for her bookcoverI designed it like she requested as well as did what I told her I would do and she agreedOnce it was completed she changed everything once her Life Coach suggested something else,which is a completely new design not a revisionI had no problems not charging again and just wanted to make her happy, but my Husband died and I told her I wasn't working and needed a few days and her rude deamenor, demands, and insensitive attitude literally stunned meI assumed she would say no problemI'm sorry for your lossNO!! HER CLAWS CAME OUTI couldnt believe her behaviorThen thisAs my invoice says if you take steps like this we will halt progress and handle it legally as it was a better way to handle something as minor as this..I will not redesign her cover or work with her after thisShe is extremely rude, insensitive, and unreasonable and very calculated with deceit. She sent me a past Complaint saying what she would doI have no problem admitting when I'm wrong but I refuse to bow down to a mean person just so she wont complain to the Revdex.comIt's bullying in reverse.Too many times business owners are unfairly criticized and judged because of people like thisThey say "Ok I can't get what I want and I'm not paying extra for what I need so let me teach her a lesson on how not to mess with me"Y'all make it easy for them to lie and manipulate the truth and to be honest I'd rather go out of business before being forced to give away my services, hardwork, and product away for free She is slandering my company just by making this post I will not continue with this any further with Selina B.Take care

This client is actually a Model I let go from my company Golden Publication Magazine.*** *** took her photos months ago and never came by to pick up because she was in the hospital.She waited months then asked about them and I reminded her when zip contacted her she said once she git better
she would come and pick upShe called after I let her go from my company for being rude to me and being disrespectful.If you live in Beaumont you pick up your order.She was to embarrassed to come so she asked if I could mail them.She gave me a address that was not on her pay pal receipt.She never received them and never told meso she waited a few more months and said she did get them.So I resent them again even after she told me should was working out of town for months and couldn't check her mail to the address on the Pay Pal invoice now she's saying she doesn't have them but her profile pic Facebook is the photo from the CD I mailed her Yesterday she called so I resent her a dropbox link to download the images in full size since she only was receiving a CD.She does not get prints with her package but I gave her free prints when I mailed them off like I always do for my clients or Models...I will send everything verifying what I'm sayingSHE IS BITTER AND ANGRY AND CONTACT ED WITH OTHER WHO NO LONG WORK WITH ME SO THIS WONT BE THE LAST.THEY ARE IN A MISSION WITH LIES THAT I CAN PROVE

The client is fabricating the situation.Her turnaround was meet as it is Business days for edited images turnaroundWhich is what she receivedI suggested a bookcover because she had not started the process and confused on what she was doing with her bookSo I offer to do her design for
She picked the photo she wanted used and emailed what she wanted it to sayI started designing and also gave her exactly what we discussed because she left the design up to me and only chose what photo she wanted to use.I designed book covers front and book and explain to her when we spoke revision is only font and color of the background in an emailSelina decided to pick another image, change the background, font, and change her wording which is a new design and not revision which is extraShe also had one day to send changes so it could be done immediately before I became extremely busy, she said she had an event and would send changes later which was days after I said I would be in my busy seasonI still tried to be accommodating and told her I will redo the complete design and didn't charge her extraI don't work for free and design things for funMy Husband passed away and she text and I told her the situation and told her give me a few days and she acted as if I didn' say my husband diedHer lack of compassion, empathy, or common human decency blew me away so I again told her today I will send Thursday when I returned to workThen she filed this report.I will Not discuss this any further as I provided exactly what I was paid to do and because she went this route she can also pay the additional for a second bookcover or select one of the three I designed for her using the image and wording she chose.As a business owner people try to bully you using Revdex.com even while you are GRIEVING when they cant get there way She didn't want to wait two days so she filed this reportShe is extremely rude and unreasonable and impatient and there's nothing I could say or day to please here to this is a matter I can not give my further ATTENTION. She messages she went with another designer and wanted a refund As if I'm responsible to pay for her new design after I did all the work on her cover she received weeks,ago and let a business coach talk her out of a very nice cover where she looked beautiful.She will not be receiving a refund on services provided

I am rejecting this response because:Although the business provided three proofs as attached to her statement, the fact remains that I was not satisfied with them and requested a revision which has still not been provided to meUpon receipt of the proofs, I realized that her vision was not a good fit to the story line of my book She sent the proofs on a Friday night at 9:24pm and did not state she needed a response less than hours later I was busy on that Saturday and sent her my revision request on Sunday She did not mention at any time that the revision I requested would be considered a new order and that there would be an additional fee attached When I spoke to her on the phone after she received my request, I explained that her design was not a good fit for this particular book and I wanted to use one of the other beautiful photos she took of meShe was cordial and seemed accommodating and appeared to understand. She has NOT provided a viable final product that I THE CUSTOMER was satisfied with for MY project This business owner has a set timeline on the invoices she sent to me of to days but does not adhere to themEach time I spoke to her she said "a couple of days" which has turned into months She gets irate and exhibits bullying behavior when clients try to hold her to her own timeline Yes, I gave her creative control but that does not mean that the client cannot say they are not satisfied with the outcome Upon receipt of this Revdex.com complaint, this business owner proceeded to further "attack and bully" me by sending a long ranting email which contains condescending remarks, she attacked my character and threatened to take legal action against me She sent me text messages and also attempted to call me several times to verbally attack me as wellUnfortunately for me, I did not check her previous Revdex.com ratings where other clients also reported delivery issues before providing her with my business I believe I have been extremely patient with this business owner but unfortunately because she felt I did not have a particular deadline for the launch of my book the she did not have to adhere to a time line as evidenced in her statement I have attached where she says "days would to have made a difference" I agree that I let my frustration take hold and when she expressed the death of a loved one, I sent my condolences but requested a refund because after almost months, I was afraid that with this new tragedy in her personal life, she would not provide me with a product at all It appeared to me that this business owner became irate with me when I was not satisfied with the product she sent to me. I am requesting a full refund of the book cover order because it has not been delivered I am fully satisfied with the photos and edited images she delivered

I am rejecting this response because: As you can see on the receipt that is not my address and Jo Golden was told several times of my new address in past attempts to collect my photos also there is no tracking number on this receipt which I was told by the postmaster that if she mailed my package she would have a tracking number to track it's mailing process after trying to ask her she refused to provide one and by the receipt clearly because she didn't have one I paid for my photo pkgin July and so I don't understand why I still do not have my photos and I have followed up with PayPal and they are investigating as to why as well this is unacceptable as this receipt could've been photoshopped or copied I mean she is a photographer who admits to using camera tricks and photoshopping this could have been a receipt from a former postage I paid to her for a magazine subscription when I was at that address and that adress was changed over a year ago which I have stated and on my least and at the post office since May of and she was well aware of the new address as she stated on Facebook which is how she conducts her business so no I do not accept that response

I am rejecting this response because: I have had five different dates to receive my pictures and every time the date comes it's always an excuse on why my pictures that I PAID FOR IN FULL are not ready! She doesn't even have the courtesy to contact me when she can't make one of the so called delievery dates, I have to call and text her every time and ask her what happenedHer response is another excuse and she promises me another date that they will be ready! I will not accept this resolution because the same thing is going to happen again, I want my pictures NOW and a partial refund due to the fact that I have waited this longI do not want any complimentary pictures or nothing she have to offer! I want what I paid for NOW!! No more excuses, very frustrated with the this matter and I believe this has gone on too long!

I am rejecting this response because the issue is still unresolved:The client gave the business owner creative control to design a book cover but, creative control does not mean that the client cannot provide feedback. Because the client has expressed dissatisfaction with the business owner's initial design, she finds comfort in attacking the client's character.  This business owner takes beautiful photos however, this complaint is regarding DELIVERY ISSUES.  It is clear that the business owner did not try to get to know me as a person and valued client.  The issue is not that I cannot be pleased, the issue is that I THE PAYING CUSTOMER, was NOT SATISFIED with the product she delivered.  Adding to a clients brand also means that you LISTEN to what the client wants and MAKE ADJUSTMENTS accordingly.  The business owner does not know the contents of my book project and it became clear to me when I saw her cover design that the photos she chose did not fit this particular book's message and I expressed that her.  I ultimately decided as the author that I wanted to use one of the other photos she took.    My suggestions to the business owner would be to: update her invoices to clearly stipulate the terms of your agreements to include specific time lines.  My frustration with her was that every time I inquired about the status of my project, the timeline was different.   This will avoid the unfortunate confusion like we have experienced.  If she would have kept me in the loop when she knew the deadline was approaching an informed me it would take a little longer, I would have been extremely appreciative and not have had to contacted her.  Also, before designing a book cover, please have a list of questions available for your clients to complete that will give you a more definite idea of what their book is about so you will have a clearer understanding and provide a product that will be more to their liking.  If the business owner would have requested a synopsis of my book, we would have started our collaboration with the same mindset. I wish this business owner nothing but future success.   Take care **.

The client has a valid concern about her images. She received all images taken at her wedding(unedited) 1500 plus images on a flash drive in Nov 2013. Once flash drive was received the client is suppose to pick our 40 images that she wanted retouched. In May 2014 the client returned her selection...

edited images. She picked an additional 40 which adds an additional 90 days to edits. Turnaround starts from that date we receive the clients selections. Unfortunately several of the edited images  images were lost and had to be reedited.Since then we have started to back up our images via dropbox as well as an external drive. I spoke to the client several times to explain the situation about the delay and why it took so long for the prints and retouched images. I sent a courtesy message 12-29-2015 to the client to assure her the photos will be deliver within 14 days along with a peace offering which was and still is valid.A Free year of a Watch Me Grow shoot for her new baby. I feel terrible about this situation and can't apologize enough. The client has been patient and very kind about the wait. I don't blame the client for being upset about this timely delay. The images are completed and the print order is being processed. This is an incident that affected a few of my shoots,however, I tried to keep calm and assure everyone that we quickly retrieve the images and process the orders. Once again this is not something that has happen before. We are troubleshooting as best as we could.I appreciate every client I have and my goal is to please all clients from the beginning to the end. Having one unhappy client makes me unhappy and I will go above and beyond to rectify this matter.  Thank you, [redacted]

I will not continue this with [redacted] because proof she has her images is her Facebook Profile pic that I never uploaded anywhere.She told me the wrong address prior and I remailed to the address from PayPal.Once she contated me again last week I sent her the dropbox link with the full size images to be downloaded.This is just like a CD she was waiting on therefore she has the images for the second time.Her shoot came with a photoshoot, make up, and 2 edited images on a CD.She received that.Since the mail is a constant issue she has the images in dropbox to download..I will not remail a third CD when she could have simply came by and picked up when I contacted her to pick up in September. The client has all shots taken on a flash drive. I have responded to each email written to me. I have called the Client several times.My turn around  is 4-6 months on Wedding  pictures of 40 edits plus not 90 days. I was in the process of moving to another city which is why the client...

hasn't gotten her prints.She wanted me to mail the prints to another  address that's  not the address  on her receipt and I was advised to only mail to address provided when purchased  or in person after a sign waiver has been..She won't provide a Address for mailing  in the Texas area. I track all orders tobassure the client  receives the package without having thefts or dishonesty..She said she was moving to Alaska and wouldn't be back do I asked for an address.I received her Moms address, but not her's. She could have called me at anytime, but this is the way she choose.

I am rejecting this response because:
The photographer has not responded to every email.  She failed to respond to emails on Mar 15, Apr 4 and Apr 25th but that is really irrelevant to the issue at hand which is to resolve the situation so I can receive the product that was promised to me.  If indeed the turn around is 4-6 months as she states, she is still past due seeing as how I sent my request with the 40 images I requested edited on Nov 17th making the 6 months Mar 17th and it is now the 27th.  Also, the fact that the photographer moved cities is irrelevant to any business agreement, if she cannot get people their products delivered on time, regardless of things going on in her personal life she should not be working during that time to ensure to maintain a good business image and delivers products owed to people within a reasonable timeline.  The address I sent to her which she confirmed was acceptable via a telephone conversation is not the address on my invoice that is correct, the address on the invoice is an apartment I no longer live in but she assured me that she sends products out of state regularly and that it is not a problem.  I am active duty military and the address I provided has been my legal residence for the past 15 years and is the address used for all of my personal and federal correspondence so if indeed she was advised to not send the photos there the advisor should ensure that they know federal statutes so they can provide her with correct information about the law when dealing with active duty military personnel.  She also never requested a Texas address via any method so it is an absolute lie that I refuse to provide a Texas address.  I find that her response in no way offered to make this situation right despite the fact that I still am willing to go and meet her to receive the package, as stated in my original complaint, in person and would provide a Texas address if she wishes to ship the package in the next 13 days.  If she refuses to meet with me or send them I still would like my money back since I have not received the product promised to me.

Received via email.I will be contacting [redacted] within 7-10 days to drive to Beaumont to bring her the prints of her edited wedding images. I am rejecting this response because: as you can see this shoot is scheduled for August 2014 I paid in July 2014 it only takes 3 weeks per her admission on Facebook to be done with single photo shoots and as you can see no where does it state I will be provided a CD also Jo Golden takes photos against a clients permission and post them to Facebook that is how I was able to see this photo and have it just screen shot to my phone from her page to my page for my profile pic because she posted it on her page without my permission her logo also was removed through photoshop and edit through the phone which she is familiar with because she uses it to edit pictures claiming that's how professionals do but Sears to my knowledge doesn't do that this ad promised a full make over I paid for my own hair prior to this photo shoot and provided my own clothes nothing was done but some makeup and the receipts and list pictures she has provided is too my magazine subscription to be mailed to my address which she has always had the list states the names of the people that had subscriptions to her magazine for her to mail which was over six months late as well not for my photo shoot in August of 2014 and if so from August 2014 why would the receipt say April 2015 that's 4 months from a year later which is far more time than what she so claims to take to develope a phootshoot what was the 8 month wait for I'm wondering and I also have proof of others whose pictures and money she's never returned or refunded and even a few of former people who has experienced being apart of her company who also like I Left her company because of her unprofessionalism and business tactics I have provided former clients experiences as screenshots to me from them to prove I am not alone but supported in just trying to receive what's due to me thank you
