Dear Dispute Resolution Team: With reference to claim * *** we have attempted to correct the problem that was identified in the complaint. The owner of Prime Roofing ***
*** has personally spoken with ** *** several times as well as her son on this matterFirst, ** *** agreed to NOT replace any wood on the job and was not contracted to replace any wood. With regards to the paint job, we have agreed to come out to their residence and repair the paint problem (also was not contracted to paint the house). *** ***the week of August 17, sent one of our project supervisors *** *** *** along with a painter to repair the paint and was told by *** *** to leave the property and therefore we were not able to do any repairs. *** *** also called and spoke with *** *** son after we were told to leave and we could not get any resolution plan in place. *** *** is willing to repair the alleged problem but will need access to the property. Prime Roofing is still owed money for the roof job that was completed. We hope to resolve this matter in a timely manner and look for your help in facilitating this for us. Please adviseSincerely,Tom K*** Assistant Office Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
First of all, I never agreed not to replace rotten wood. ** *** even agreed that it would take very few pieces of new wood to complete the job. In regards to not being contracted to paint the house, is untrue. The memo on my cancelled check even says for painting and was cashed by *** ***. The painters were not asked to leave my house, I told them to call and talk to ** *** before they started, and then I saw them leave. ** *** spoke with my son *** on the phone on one occasion, but spent so much time yelling and talking over him that he could hardly get a word in.** *** did finally send out a "real painter" that touched up and fixed the problems with the original paint job to the best of his ability. If he had been sent out in the first place, all of this could have been avoided. The nails have still not been picked up out of my yard and the cleanup of the branches that were cut when installing the roof, have still not been removed. The money that ** *** says he is owed on the roof job is from having to go buy more shingles, probably due to his miscalculationsHe said he has submitted it to my insurance company and that I would receive an additional check, but nothing has been received by me to this date. ** *** stills owes me $300, that he agreed to refund for the covering of the rotten wood.I will consider the paint job as satisfactory. I just need the nails removed and the debris picked up out of my yard. I will give ** *** the additional money I receive from the insurance company and in return, I want the $he owes me
Regards,

Revdex.com:
Ultimately, after attempts, we believe, to the best of our ability, that the roof has been repaired. It is unfortunate that we had to threaten legal action in small claims court and filing with the Revdex.com for the final repair to be made. "Bob" (the owner?) told us repeatedly that the roof was NOT under warranty because we purchased the home. (Contract was between Prime Roofing and Seller of home.) We eventually located the contract between Prime Roofing and the original owner/seller of home and it was clear that the roof WAS under warranty. Bob had a copy of the contract all along and continually denied warranty coverage until we produced the contract. Will never do business with Prime Roofing again nor recommend this company to anyone. Also, due to the incompetent roofing job (and prior attempts at repairs), we now have sheetrock and paint damage to the interior of our home due to the roof leaking. Respectfully,*** ***

To Revdex.com:  In reference to the [redacted] complaint, Prime Roofing has repaired the leak.  The leak came from the chimney not being properly trimmed. However Prime Roofing went ahead and fixed the bad chimney trim, repaired the leak and has the interior repairs scheduled (subject to our sub...

contractors timing).  The work should  be complete as soon as possible.  Tom [redacted] Prime Roofing Corporate

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  However, the business is not being truthful about the leak and it was not caused by the chimney trim and was caused by improper flashing of the new roof.

Prime Roofing did acknowledged the roof leak and went to the home owner residence 4 times and through the process we were able to locate the problem and make the necessary repairs.  I spoke with Mr and Mrs [redacted] today to confirm that the leaks were repaired and they indicated that there has...

been nio further problems.  Mrs [redacted] told me she would let the Revdex.com know of the satisfatory outcome.  I als told the [redacted]'s that they should contact us if anything leaks in the future.  Tom [redacted] - Prime Roofing
