Review: Paid $270 cash for window washing 6 June. They left shortly after starting job with promise to return next day. Did not return until following multiple phone calls. Worked briefly and left with promise to return 8 June. Never came back. Following multiple phone calls, promised return 9 June. Did not show. Again called them and they promised return 10 June. Showed up Tuesday and guaranteed would complete job that day. Then said had urgent other job and left. Windows not washed. Tabs on screens broken by them. They will not accept my phone calls. They have not returned to the house and have not responded to email either.

[redacted] business owner promised if dissatisfied with service would still clean windows but would refund our payment for all our trouble and to demonstrate his goodwill. We no longer want him to clean our windows. We are not asking for reimbursement for broken screens. We want the promised refund of our $270 cash.

Review: I hired JJ&M to clean and oil wooden shingles... He did not clean them adequately or oil the shakes. I also contracted with to replace wooden shakes on half of my house as he told me they were rotten. I gave him $600 cash for cleaning and oiling shingles in one payment. He neeeded another $600 so I paid him by check. He then needed $650 for materials, I then wrote him another check for $650. He bought no materials and reused all shakes from before. Oh and he gave me an estimate of $1800 to oil and clean shakes, I paid him that. Also the $650 for materials. So I am out of $2450 for a job not done and ruining the roof above my garage. He walked off job because I wouldn't pay him more money. He left the roof totally open to rain and weather. I had to hire and beg [redacted] to come over ASAP. They had to tear apart work or destroying roof JJ & M had done. I paid Rainproof $2900. I am out $5350 cash for a job I thought would only be $1800. I have all receipts and cancelled checks, pics and any other documentation from this job. [redacted] promised to come and make things right so we planned to meet two times. He offered to pay once a month, I wanted to meet with him, he never came by or offered any money. This has been over a month and he hasn't returned any of my phone calls. I am seeking $5000.00 from [redacted] dba as JJ and M Home Modification. He is a shoddy worker who never shows up on time and I was a trusting person to hire him.Desired Settlement: I am seeking money I paid him for work not done. I also am seeking $2900 for money I had to pay [redacted] for fixing the work that never had to be done. [redacted] is a very dishonest person.
