I would like to start out by saying that I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your sisterThis is an issue from a job completed almost two years ago and is just coming up now Your sister hired my company to remodel bathrooms in a home you two sharedWe gave a very good price and completed the work in a very timely mannerThe quality of work is exceptionalI have submitted a picture of the bathroom in which you say the work is sub-parThere is not one thing sub-par in this bathroomYour sister even gave us a star review on [redacted] ***I do not however have a picture of the second bathroomI would like to ask you to post pictures of that bathroom and any other pictures that you would like to post because I know that the quality of our work is top notchand any pictures you post will show that.On to the matter at handOne of my employees lost a set of keys that were given to us by your sisterWe were told that it was $to replace the keysI offered to pay your sister for the keys because it was totally the fault of my employeeAs you know your sister refused to take the money from meInstead she asked if we could install a shower curtain in the bathroom shown in the picture I submitted You can clearly see the shower curtain hanging upYes I spoke to your sister about coming out there after work one day to install the curtain at the end of the day, however we did not finish working that day until late so we had to make another appointment because the employee who was going to come out there had to pick up his son from the babysitterA call was made to your sister to reschedule and it seemed to be a non issue to herIt was hardly this huge problem that you made it seem to be in your complaint emails you sent meA second appointment was made and the curtain was installedAt that point the issue was resolvedNow almost two years later after your sister passed away and you are going through a very hard time you are bringing up these issues and making accusations that we did sub-par workAs I have told you on many occasions I will come out to look over the bathroom and take a look at what you are calling sub-par work because I can not see anything in the pictures that I haveYour job was a job that I did the tile personallyI have an extreme amount of pride that I take in my work and have never had a claim that my work has ever been sub-parEven though it seems like an outrageous amount, I will also give you the $that it cost to replace the keysHowever, I have asked you on several occasions for any type of documentation that you were charged this money to replace the keys and you have yet to sent me any type of receipt or anything to support the claim that it cost you anything to replace themI have done additional work in your building and spoke to the front desk about a key replacement fee and was told that they do not charge for lost keys unless it becomes a habitual habit of a tenant who continually loses their keys
