I have spoken with [redacted] and a Gentleman named [redacted] regarding their concerns two on two different dates, Feb. 23 and...

I had explained to them that we had quoted the job at $[redacted] +tax including all labor and materials. This quote came in response to a phone call from [redacted] requesting us to attend her property and address the roof leak that was happening at the time of the call.
Homestar sent a techs to investigate the roof and determine where the water was coming from.
Upon their investigation the techs concluded that there was no roof leak from the outside in but a moisture build up in the attic space, which was starting to melt with the mild day and dripping into the home.
Homestar quoted [redacted] a price which included the time responding to the emerge call and the work that needed to be preformed to complete the task at hand. The price of $[redacted] +tax was agreed upon and the work started the next day.
Once the work was completed Homestar decided to charge the customer less than the quoted prices since the job went better than anticipated. An invoice for $[redacted] was sent to the client. [redacted] and [redacted] contacted myself ([redacted]) to discuss. I explained to them how the charge of $[redacted] was configured and that we agreed on $[redacted] +tax but I was only charging for what I thought was fair due to the job progressing better than originally anticipated.
I asked both If the job had taken longer than anticipated would they have been willing to pay more, they answered no.
Homestar could have billed the full [redacted] plus tax for this job as it was a quoted Job, not a time and material job, but we did not. We adjusted the quote to the lower price to reflect the fact that the installation went better than thought.

this matter has been taken care of Her is a copy of her email from this morning
I'm being so difficult [redacted], because I've now had 5 different companies go into my attic, and until yesterday they all agreed it was your fault. Yesterday however, [redacted] from Mc ventilation came and discovered what everyone else, including your guys, missed. The tru vents were installed improperly, completely blocking air from coming in through the 4 vents you installed. I am beyond frustrated! 5 different companies! Now I get to be frustrated and embarrassed, sorry I blamed you and your company, I'll be in to pay you soon. Maybe today depending on if the weather holds off long enough, if not once the roads are good to drive on. I hope you do not hold it against me, as I was just going off of what I was being told by other professionals. Take care, and once I pay you, you won't hear from me again,
