He did get his free estimate but we also did a diagnostics on the car which is telling him what was wrong and that was $If he feels he didnt get the $worth then he can come see Dan or call and he will take care of it

WE RECEIVED A CALL FROM JENINFER SHE SAID SHE WAS SELLING THE CAR AND THE PEOPLE BUYING THE CAR SAID THE ALTERNATOR WAS BADI ASK HER IF SHE HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR AND SHE SAID SHE HAD NO PROBLEM AT ALLI ADVISED HER TO BRING THE CAR IN AND WE WOULD CHECK IT OUTSHE BROUGHT THE CAR IN AND
WE GAVE HER A LOANER CARAFTER LOOKING AT THE CAR WE DID NOT FIND ANY PROBLEM,JUST LIKE SHE TOLD US ON THE PHONE.SHE DROVE THE CAR IN AND DROVE IT AWAYA BAD ALTERNATOR WOULD NOT LET THIS HAPPENWE HAD THE RESULTS OFF ALL TEST TO SHOW HER.THEN SHE CHANGE THE STORY TO THE CAR WAS DYEING OUT.WE STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT THE REAL STORY IS,BUT ADVISED HER ALTERNATOR IS STILL WARRANTY FOR YEAR OR MILES WHICH EVER COMES FIRSTWE WILL NOT REFUND ANY THING OR WARRANTY ANYTHING ON A REPAIR NOT NEEDED,BUT WILL BE HAPPY TO WARRANTY THE ALTERNATOR IF IT SHOULD FAIL.THANK YOU *** Tell us why here

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. National Auto only offered to return the replaced exhaust manifold I want my old catalytic converter returned I specifically, in writing and by checking the box for return of parts on their drop off envelope that my parts be returned to me They were my parts and I paid for new parts The original estimated date for completion of repairs was to Monday 10-10- I advised them that I had to return to my home on Tuesday 10- I was phoned on 10-and told that there was a delay and that truck would be ready by noon on 10- When I phoned at 1:on 10-I was told delays had continued and that truck would not be ready for pickup until Wednesday 10- I then drove to National Auto and they gave me a loaner to useI then had to have a friend return the loaner, pay the bill in full, and pick up my truck When I retrieved my truck on 10-I did not find my parts in the truck bed I phoned them immediately and was told I would have to pay $for my parts.Wisconsin consumer law states...ATCP Replaced parts; return or inspection.(1) General requirement. If a shop replaces or permanently removes any components, parts or accessories from a customer's motor vehicle as part of a repair, the shop shall return those components, parts or accessories to the customer if, before the shop starts the repair, the customer requests the return of those components, parts or accessories.(2) Exemption. If a shop is required to return a replaced component, part or accessory under a warranty or exchange agreement, the shop need not return that component, part or accessory to a requesting customer under sub. (1), provided the shop makes the requested component, part or accessory available for the customer's inspection before the shop returns the motor vehicle to the customer.National Auto cites Exemption (2) as their reason for not returning the catalytic converter That exemption only applies to a warranty or exchange agreement as you can see above I either want my catalytic conveyor (which is worth $scrap value) or a refund of $ The total repair bill was in excess of $

National Complete Auto had my car 8/23/17-8/24/and said the alternator tested fineThey refused to get another shop's results to compareAlternators are a part that can test bad one moment and good anotherThe alternator continually charges the battery that supplies all the electrical components in the vehicle at the same time (lights, radio, power windows & locks, etc.)All of which, plus some I had reported to National Complete Auto.The alternator they installed was on 9/12/with a month warrantyThe alternator was reported bad to them within the months, regardless of whether or not I was selling the vehicle, it is under warranty and I am the owner addressing them.I got my car back from National Complete the afternoon of 8/24/and that same evening the car shut down while driving homeI called the New Berlin Police Department since I had my child in the car and officer Butzen had respondedThe car had to be jumped and I only got one mile down the road before it died againOfficer Butzen said if anyone at the Revdex.com needs to contact him regarding this incident or needs the police report, he can be contacted at *** I had to have a new alternator installed and ever since, the car has never died and the battery light has never gone on.Both *** and *** refused to tell me where the part came from and supply a part numberI was told that information was none of my business and how dare I ask them thatI paid for itI have every right to know any information regarding the work and parts that were installed.The shop that replaced the alternator, found out once they removed the part it came from O'Reilly Auto PartsO'Reilly Auto Parts has a lifetime warranty on all parts sold. I took the alternator in and the employees took one look at it and knew it was bad.There is no reason why I had to pay $323.44 in months for another part to be installed due to the business (National Complete Auto) not honoring their warranty.Attached are several pictures including the 9/12/receipt showing I paid for a new alternator less than months ago from National Complete Auto, the dash lights that were going on after getting the car back hours after leaving National Complete Auto on 8/24/17, and the dash light and test from the Auto shop that replaced the bad alternator.Documentation of the old/bad alternator and paid receipt for the new alternator can be supplied upon request.Thank you,*** ***

in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The reason I reject the business response is because they are not apologizing for taking advantage. They are false advertising and performing work that was not necessary.   I had no other issues with the truck… Besides leaking power steering fluid from a bad hose and asked only for an estimate for replacing the bad hoses, National Complete Auto felt it necessary to run a vehicle diagnostic test???  How does that make sense, the diagnostic test relies on a computer system that links to the vehicle's computer processor, sensors, and microchips, logging any problems or issues present. It has nothing to do with fixing power steering hoses.

WE MADE OUR OFFER AND THINK IT IS MORE THAN FAIR THANK YOUTell us why here...

WELL WE TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO MISTER SIMS 3 TIME THAT THIS WAS A EXCHANGE PART BUT HE JUST DOES NOT UNDERSTAND SO PLEASE HAVE MR SIMS STOP IN AND WE WILL STEP UP AND GIVE HIM THE CONVERTER BACK. WE HAVE OVER 10000 CUSTUMERS A YEAR AND HAVE NO ISSUES WE HAVE SEEN THIS ISSUE BEFORE AND THE CUSTUMER UNDERSTOOD THIS EVERY TIME. MR SIMS JUST HAS HIS EYE ON THE SALVAGE OF THIS PART SO DOES THE PLACE WHERE WE BUY THEM THAT'S WHY  THEY ARE EXCHANGE PARTS. WE ARE CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE. WE WISH MR SIMS UNDERSTOOD THIS.

IN MR SIMS COMPLAINT HE REFERS TO  ATCP 132.07 BUT HE DOSE NOT READ SEC 2 OF ATCP 132.07 WHICH STATES IF PARTS NEED TO BE EXCHANGE HE WOULD BE ABLE TO VIEW  FOR INSPECTION. WHEN TAKING DELIVERY OF HIS TRUCK NEITHER DID THEY ASK FOR PARTS OR INSPECTION UNTIL LATER. BUT THATS OK I STILL HAVE...

THE MANIFOLD HERE AND THIS CAN STILL BE INSPECTED AS EXPLAINED TO MR SIMS THIS PART HAS TO BE EXCHANGE. THIS IS CLEARLY EXPLAINED IN ACTP 132.07 SEC 2. THANK YOU ANY FURTHER CONCERNS PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT US
