Review: I took my boat, motor and trailer with life jackets and accessories to be sold on connsignment at Jand Ja isalnd marine on 4/24/2013. I was told the boat would be sold for 8 % commission. I agreed and the [redacted] asked me to sign a contract. I did sign it and was told the contract would be completed once the boat was inspected and I could pick up a copie the next day. I was told by [redacted], an employeea nd [redacted] the [redacted] that the boat would sell and I would receive my part with in 7 days of funding of the sale. I repeatedly called and went in to get a copy of the contract. Never to be ready. once they called and said the boat was sold on 5/22/2013 I could come in to bring the titles. I took them in and I was given the contract but the date of funding after the boat was s old was changed from 7 days to 30 by pen mark. I did not sign or confirm this. the [redacted] stated he changed his mind because the buyer could come back and return the boat if he wanted. but he stated the funding would still be done in 7 days. It has now been 48 days and the [redacted] has not paid me my part of the sale which was for 6,700.00 my part minus commission was to be 6164.00. The [redacted] has repeatedly cursed and given me the run around about his charges for repairs on other boats and problems with staffing when I go in to collect my money. The [redacted] verbally threatened me 7/5/2013 and I now fear for my life to go back and ask for my money. during this time I would repeatedly ask for the buyers information and the bank information but he would not give it to me. I do not know what to do at this point. He did give me a check in "good faith" as he called it in the amount of the sale but I repeatedly check funds at the bank and it does not have funding ever.Desired Settlement: I want my boat back with trailer and motor and accessories as I gave it to them or my full payment including commission.

Review: I purchased a boat from J & J Island Marine in October 2012. I have received only part of the title work to my boat that I purchased. I have dealt with several people at the business including the owner trying to get this resolved and get the last of the paper work. This week alone I have called 4 times and have not gotten one phone call returned. It is now the end of June 2013. I am stuck with a boat that I would like to sell and can not do this because I do not have the rest of the papers. I am furious.Desired Settlement: Hopefully by turning this business into Revdex.com, other people will be cautious when thinking about buying a boat from this company and J & J will get this issue resolved immediately.
