Review: my daughter rented a Tro**ey for the day of her wedding. The tro**ey was supposed to be air conditioned. The air didn't work. It was a warm day, the brida* party and the bride and groom were very uncomfortab*e and sweaty. I ca**ed the owner and he to*d me we shou*d of made other arrangements to get to the wedding reception if they weren't comfortab*e. And he was not paying because we used their service. he did offer a $300. Gift card which we dec*ined.Desired Settlement: I asked him to do the fair thing, which I said deduct what the gas cost you and the driver cost and reimburse the rest. He to*d me I was out of my mind. The heat in that tro**ey messed the gir*s hair and make up which cost over $700. Do**ars. The guys tuxes were soaked. My daughter the bride was soaked. I thought we were being more than fair asking for $800.00 back. He shou*dn't be making any money off us when the air didn't work and destroyed what we spent a *ot of money on.

I am writing today to respond to the letter I received from your office in regards to the above complaint number. First of all, the customer name on the complint is [redacted] was not involed in the booking of this limousine. The reservation is under the name of [redacted], and it is signed by [redacted]. The reason I bring this up is that [redacted] or [redacted] have never contacted me to complain about anything. It has on*y been [redacted] who has complained. Second, NO ONE called me the day of the wedding as [redacted] stated in her comp*aint. When I spoke to [redacted] a few days *ater, she said she had no way to reach me that day. I told her that there is a big business card ho*der on the she*f of the limo of the limofi**ed with my business cards and they have the phone # on them that I carry at all times. I also tol her that if they were that uncomfortable, I would have demanded that the driver get aho*d of my immediate*y. Third, I also told her that she could have put the windows down in the trolley, and that would have solved any problem that she had. She to*d me that my they did put down the windows, and that my driver kept putting them up. I asked my driver if this happened, and he told me it did not. If they wanted the windows down, he would have gladly let them put them down. I also explained to [redacted] that the lmo had gone out before their event, and when I talked to her, I told her it also went out after their event, and there were no issues with the air conditioning. Also, as [redacted] says in her desired settlement, that I told her she was out of her mind. I would NEVER EVER tell a customer that. I also explained to [redacted] that someone in her group broke one of the brass bars on the back of my tro**ey by standing on it, and she did not want to hear about that. I explained to her that this is an oler vintage trolley, and I may ne even be able to get that fiXed, and still to this date, have not been able to do so. Lastly, according to the disclaimer of the signed reservation form, it states that they will take full responsibilty for members of their group, and even if there were any unexpected mechanical problms with the limo, that we are not responsible for them, and no refunds will be issued. I did try to do the right thing for them, which is why I offered them a $300.00 gift certificate to them to try to keep them happy, but [redacted] declined that. I only did that, not because I had to, but as a good faith gesture. I am sorry that [redacted] feels lke she does, but as you can see, there were a lot of things that could have been done to make her happy. I would never do with with him again which is why I am not accepting his offer for a gift certificate. I will see him in small claims court.
