I can't speak for the other groomers but Jen is the BEST. I am a Yorkie Mom and she is the only one who ever groomed my first two - I followed her to where she was working when she changed locations. She cares for the animals and is very patient with their owners. I will never consider anyone else as long as she is in business.

I usually don't write reviews of this nature unless I feel really, really compelled to do so. Let me give you the intro. My dog's regular groomer is [redacted] located at [redacted] & [redacted] Rd. They usually don't have same day appointments and I wanted to get my dog in before leaving to go out of town. I called and was told they have same day appointments. So, I took my dog there whose name is Wynston.
My first RED flag should have been when she said to my dog as he entered the front door "Don't pee there". I'm thinking, most dogs are always trying to mark their spot. I said "do you want me to wipe it up?" Shannon replied, "No, we just tell them not to pee on the floor". I'm thinking, as a "so-called" professional dog groomer and someone who's around dogs all the time, what dog do you know that would understand what she just said.
Needless to say, I left my dog Wynston there to get groomed by the "so-called" professional dog groomer. I dropped him off at approx 9:00 and ran my other errands. I picked him up at approx 3:00. Upon entering the facility, I asked "how did Wynston do?" Shannon said "he didn't do very well because he bites". I said he never did that at his regular groomer and she said "well we called [redacted] and they told me that he always bites and that they have to always muzzle him and also they said they had told you about it". I said "that I have never been told that". I told Shannon that I would be calling [redacted] as soon as I got in the car. I called [redacted] and was told that they never said that. To determine if this Shannon was being honest, I went back into the building and had [redacted] on speaker phone and they said to Shannon "We never ever told you that and we also told you that if you didn't want to groom Wynston, leave him as is and that I could bring him in the next day". Well Shannon couldn't face the truth when confronted. She called me a liar and said "you lied to me because you knew that he would bite". She further said, "take your dog and don't come back". If I didn't think she would immediately call the Speedway police, I would have went the [redacted] off on her. She called me a liar when she was the one who was the liar and lying on [redacted] told her the only behavior they had seen out of Wynston is when they are trimming his legs because they are a tender spot and he becomes a little agitated but they know how to handle situations like this because they are a professional and know that all dogs aren't the same and that that is tender spot on most dogs.
My only thought for my dog's behavior is that Shannon must have either intentionally been mean to Wynston and could care less if they injured him or if he was uncomfortable during the grooming. SHANNON PLACED ALL THE BLAME ON MY DOG!!!! She is an evil "[redacted]" and, because it must be individually owned by her or her mommy and daddy, she feels as if she can talk to people any kind of way. Well, here's news for you sister, learn to treat all of your customers, including the animals with respect. YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE THE ONES KEEPING YOU IN BUSINESS. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY GROOMER IN INDY.
This leads me to believe the other reviews that I have read on this site about animal cruelty and how one reviewer just happened to be in the waiting room and went where her dog was being groomed; she witnessed the cruelty and immediately snatched her dog and left the building.
If Shannon wasn't so "money hungry" she could have easily called me at the telephone number that was given when I dropped my dog off and said come and get him, we cannot handle him. But you know money thirsty people will do anything for a dollar.
PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE -- IF YOUR DOG ISN'T A FAVORITE OR A DOG THAT SHE LIKES OR IF IT MAY LOOK DIFFERENT FOR HER TASTE, SHE WILL HURT YOUR DOG.
I WILL ALSO REPORT THIS TO THE Revdex.com. I'm pretty sure that it won't matter to Shannon because her nasty attitude makes her feel she will probably lose a customer but, just turn them away at her own discretion.
NONE OF WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN IS EXAGGERATED IN ANY WAY!!
