On July 12, David McCrackin and his crew did a shingle replace job on my small residential garage I called him a couple days prior to July 12, and he met with me in person at my house to provide an estimate and to set a time when he could do the job Here's where it goes from good, to great, to unbelievable I had already secured estimates from a few other contractors, when I called J&J Dave McCrackin beat one of those estimates by $600!, Another, he beat by $ So I chose to go with Dave McCrackin and his team at J&J Repairs and Roofing Keep reading , it gets better Dave initially set a date that was about a week and a half out from our initial visit I thought man, this is great........calling him halfway through the summer and being able to get the work done in a week and a half......that's darn good service Now, listen to this Dave called me back on July 11th and said he'd be over on July 12th, at 8:a.mto do the job, a stroke of good luck for me, because of a change in his schedule which I would benefit from So, the week and a half timeline was shortened to a day and a half timeline, and plus the cost was well below his competitors Dave and his team, expected to show up at 8:a.mon July 12, showed up at 7:a.m., raring to go Dave told me his crew would be finished with the job by 10:a.m This whole crew operates as oneThis was a man crew that showed up They immediately went about their work, guys, each knowing their duty, and not getting in each other's way on that little garage roof Dave was there, barking out encouragement and motivation for his crew There was a high level of respect and discipline and work ethic between Dave and his crew Watching Dave and his crew, you sense a kind of military like approach to the job at hand It was professional, concise, orderly, and precise, with no wasted effort All energy was directed to the work This resulted in a job, being quoted as starting at 8:a.m, and finishing at 10:a.m., actually being completely in HOURSThey were done with my garage at 10:a.m!!! These guys don't fool around It was like an olympic event with athletes in a coordinated event Dave's decades in the business, his vast knowledge of the business, his leadership and training of his workers provides an excellent customer experience if you want a job well done It's a family business, and they look out for each other, and the customer benefits from all of it Even Dave's wife is on the team, behind the scene, assisting and providing her knowledge for the betterment of the companyIn my presence, Dave called his wife about an issue with some paperwork, and before Dave could finish his sentence, she already had an answer and solution to the issue The call lasted seconds, and problem solved This is what you, as a customer can expect from J&J repairs and roofing I'm 100% satisfied with them, and should I need home repairs in the future, I'll call the McCrackin Crew 1st, for fair and honest work, prices, and excellent workmanship They've earned my trust, and future work when ever I may need it Dave will provide you with a written contract, but you feel as if his handshake is valid enough He means what he says, and says what he means He's the 1st contractor that I've dealt with that made writing out a check to him for his work alittle less painful Because he earned it I recommend J&J repairs and roofing 100% Good people, with old school, and old fashioned values, work ethic, and honesty
