Hired Dan, his son, and one of his employees to do the tile throughout our entire house, bathrooms, and a kitchen back-splash We were to supply the tile while he was going to supply all of the setting materials Dan is capable of doing good work but he used cheap setting materials and our light grey grout is know splotchy and dark in areas The work he did not do himself was of poor quality The thing that bothered me the most is after spending $7000+ dollars we could not get him to return a phone call to finish the work! Our back splash was completed by another contractor In one shower "wall niche" as he calls it he used tile sideways in the corners The marble tile has lines going one way throughout, horizontal He was lazy enough to turn pieces approx 3" x 3" with the lines going vertical In no way does this work His employee did some 3x6" subway tile in a shower/tub Some of the tiles were so uneven you could catch your finger on them Dan came back and knocked them off the wall and fixed them A week later tiles were falling off from his repair work He did come back and fix this but like I said before his quality control is suspect and his choice of material is WHATEVER is cheap If you do end up using him DO NOT let him supply the base material or you will have bleed through after he is gone and YOU WERE WARNED! Make sure HE DOES ALL THE WORK HIMSELF and watch what is completed carefully
