leaking has to do with the previous work done on the roof even before our company was hired. The original roof had a box gutter and canceled it with new rubber roof over top, they did this because the main roof structure is caving in the center between both houses. That is why the previous company that was hired installed separate gutters and downspouts.Our customer called various times about the issue, we sent someone out four times to take a look at the problem. Each time, it was explained that the issue was not the roof, but the windows. Our staff even poured water on the roof to see if the roof was the problem, but the only place the water would leak out of was the windows. Each of these times our company sent someone out and the problem was explained to our customer, we let the customer know that his problem was not the roof but rather his windows. We even installed a stopper to temporarily prevent the window leak, even though we were NOT hired to fix the leak from the windows.We received threatening and insulting calls from the customer and tried to explain to him that our company was hired to ONLY fix the roof, the problem of his leaking is the windows, NOT the roof. The leaks are not coming in from the roof but rather the windows, our company was not hired to fix the windows. Also, for recoating it is a two year warranty NOT a four year warranty.In conclusion, we want to settle this compliant in a professional manner, we are willing to have an inspector from the borough go to the property and have him look at the problem and announce if the issue is the roof or the window. If the inspector concludes that the problem is the roof then we are more than willing to fix the problem without any further charge. If the problem is the window then we would appreciate if the compliant was dropped. Overall, we hope to resolve this problem in order to satisfy the customer and our company.
