J and J Waste is the worst waste company that I have ever dealt with. They do not always pick up the trash as scheduled. They will not answer nor return phone calls. This signals to me that they really are not concerned about their business nor their customer. I am in the process of finding someone else to pick up my trash. If J and J does not care, I certainly do not care to continue to pay them.

J and J WASTE took over for [redacted] waste and received payment for trash removal. Trash pick up day is Wed.On 3/26/14 my trash was not picked up. I called the office they did return to pick up on 3/27/14. I advised that according to website and contract that they supposed to pick up five bags of leaves along with the trash. I advised the young lady that they had not removed any leaves the week before and requested that they do so when they pick up the trash . I was assured that it would be done the trash was picked up. No bags of leaves were removed. On 4/2/14 my trash was not picked up again called was told it would be picked up on 4/3/14. On 4/3/14 my trash was still not picked up. I called again on 4/3/14 I was told my trash would be picked up on 4/4/14. On 4/4/14 my trash was still not picked up. The young lady took my number and told me she would call me back. When I called back several hours later I was advised that the owner had told her to give me a refund he no longer wanted to service me. She did give me the owners number . I made contact with Mr. [redacted] owner of J and J waste at XXX XXX XXXX. I expressed to him my concerns about my trash being overlooked. Mr. [redacted] stated that he did not wish to pick up my trash because I had too much yard waste. I advised him that all I expected was that his company would honor their contract and pick up five bags weekly . Service wasn't given due to bill PAID company stated they didn't see my online on time payment.Didn't seem to care no send service upon they mistake.On July 1, 2014 J & J service did not collect my trash I called the company spoke with the owner Mrs.[redacted] who stated she don't know why my trash wasn't picked up and promise me she would send another truck out to pick up my trash which never happen I called the office again the next day she (Mrs.[redacted]) stated she will send someone out I explain to her for the[redacted] July 4th I would have vistors and I need my trash picked up she stated she understands and she will get me taking care of more of story is SHE DID NOT. Now I called the office she will not answer when I call I ask for them to cancel my contract and for a refund she agreed needless to say today I woke up with no garabage can cause they picked it up and stated they don't refund which I'm paid up for 3 months and they took they trash can not giving me a refund this company SUCKS.Desired SettlementRefund for 3months of service paided which the company states they don't do refunds and I guess the services that you pay for either.Business Response j and j waste apologizes for any troubles this situation may have caused the customer, we have everything under control and will service customer until end of the quarter, which is the end of September. I called to tell them that my garbage can was half full he asked me to send him a picture ID and then he called and said that his driver said it was grass . A box on top of some bags that stuffed in it. The man was so rude and hostile I asked for a supervisor he said he was and there is no one can change how he talk to me so that's why I'm writing this letters.Desired SettlementIf it the own talking to people who pay they money need to be talk to with respect and not like the lie.. I'm changing service ASAP!Business Response In response to the customers complaint,if it was grass we ask that grass is bagged and put on the outside of trash cart.and if some trash was left in the bottom of trash cart loose we ask our customers to bag the trash,and if they were bags we will check with driver and pick them up on the next pick up day. Very unprofessional business practices!Probably the worst business I've ever dealt with. Seriously...This has been a problem since we first hired this company almost three years ago. It's always something with this company. My trash was not picked up July 1, 2014 (Tuesday is our scheduled pickup day). So, after contacting the owner, she informs me that they have a new system and they did not see our online payment(which was early by the way). So, the owner assured me that our trash would be picked up July 2, 2014. After they still didn't pick it up that day, I called again on July 3, 2014. I pleaded with the owner. I informed her that I was having a family gathering and I needed all of that trash away from my home. She told me that it was nothing she could do, and a truck wouldn't be out our way that day. That was the last straw. So, I instructed her to cancel my services if my trash was not picked up on the 3rd, because if I had to pile all of that trash in my car I didn't need J & J. So of course no one came. I instructed the owner to just send me a refund and she said that would be fine. So, the company picked up my remaining trash on July 8, 2014 and July 15, 2014. Today on July 23, 2014, the company came to my home, took my trash out of my can, placed the trash in my yard, and took the can. ??????So, I called the office and spoke with[redacted]. (Wonderful customer service skills) She informed me that the company did in fact come and get my can, and that the company no longer gives refunds. But remember, I have already paid this company through September. So,[redacted] calls the owner and relays my message that since you don't do refunds all of a sudden, bring my trash can back and fulfill our agreement. The owner agreed and said he would bring my can back today. It is 7pm and no one has shown up with a can yet. I intend to hire another company. I just don't want to deal with this company another day. PLEASE someone help with this. I would not wish this company on my worst enemy. I myself, am an independent businessman. Customer satisfaction is by far the most important part of being successful. But somewhere along the line this company wasn't taught that or has yet to learn that. Please advise. Made last pit of $65 to cover Oct-Dec 31, 2015 on Oct. 23rd. No service after Oct.2015, NO refund but now being billed $150 when I have no service.I had service after ABC closed w/o notifying customers-found out on the news. After advertisement decided to give J & J Waste a shot late June 2014. I had to call numerous times to have bill corrected and did not receive their trash receptacle until June 2015. Their were several times that trash was not picked up, so I called. The customer service is awful. My last payment of $65 covering Oct. 2015-Dec. 31, 2015 was made on Oct. 23, 2015. Service was terminated Oct. 2015. I've made several attempts to receive refund of $43.33 ($65/3=$21.67*2) for Nov and Dec. 2015. I was told that it would be received. They are running a shady business and do not want them to know my new address, I gave the same lady I've been talking to my work address [redacted] N. [redacted] Pkwy Cordova, TN [redacted]. I've continued to get actual bills instead. The last bill dated 3/5/16 states that I now owe $150I am no longer at the address and no longer have service since Oct. 2015. I called for a fifth time after I tried to go to their address. I quickly found out that [redacted] E Raines Rd. Memphis, TN [redacted] is that lady's address.... Now I know why the service sucks. There's no physical building and this lady is trying to run this from her house. I parked and called and she tried to give me the run around so I told her the address I was at. She was shocked, of course and I saw her peak out the window. All I want is the refund for Nov. And Dec. 2015 and for them to STOP adding to a bill for an address I don't live at and for service I don't have. I have also consulted w/my attorney and have alerted the credit bureaus that this is not legitimate and have sent in proof of payment and moving so that they no not to allow this to be reported on me and my husband who has recently retired from the Army after 29yrs of service. The lady, once again, said that she would have to call me back and go to their archives for the account that was on Wed., Mar16thI've heard nothing. The acct #3038 and the old address [redacted] Dr. Millington, TN XXXXX. If the current residents have their service then I wonder if they're paying anything since I'm continuing to be billed. If I had known their was no physical location which is why there's no customer service we would have cancelled and not stayed w/them for 16mths. I still don't know her name... she was always so vague and rushing to get off of the phone. But being at her house, I can tell, kind of freaked her out-I was just following the address on Google which I took a screenshot of in case she tried to say anything different.Desired SettlementTo be refunded for the months of November 2015 and December 2015 totaling $43.33 AND to no longer be billed for services not being provided (the city takes care of sanitation where I am) so that they don't try to send this to collections and report my husband and I when we are no longer their customers.Business Response customers refund of $40.00 was sent to her 3-20-16for November & December 2015. to the forwarding address she gave me. I just called J&J about a billing adjustment, rep very unprofessional and garbage not picked up for the last 2 weeks even though bill late fee paid.I admit, I paud my bill 2 weeks late and added the $10 late fee and my garbage has been missed for 2 weeks now. I paid my bill on or around 7/9/15 - 7/13/15. The paymwnt was for the months of July, August & September. J&J bills in advance so, the payment of $65 was due on 7/1/15, I admit I was late about 10days - 2weeks. They immediatly stopped picking up my garbage ( missed 2 weeks), thats fine but when I called to inquire about credit adjustment [redacted] was loud and talked over me. All I wanted to say was Desired SettlementI called today about a bill adjustment for my garbage not being picked up for 2 weeks, I admit I was a little over a week making my payment along with a $10 late fee, grand total of $75. J&J bills in advance for July,Aug & Sept. I made the payment on or around 7/9/15-7/13/15. Since they did not pick up my garbage for 2 weeks, I simply called for a bill adjustment since there is 13 pick up dates in this 3 month period and I am only getting picked up for 11 pickups. I paid $75 average cost per pick up is $5.76, I was missed twice so I was just asking for adjustment of appx $11-$12. I spoke to a rep name Ted and he was very unprofessional and arrogant,and would not allow me to speak without talking over me.I would just like my bill adjusted for the missed pick ups, because they bill in advance. Bill adjustment amount $11-$12.Business Response We @ J&J do bill in advance, the customers bill was due 6-21-15 on 7-1-15 new quarter started. the 2 weeks not serviced is because bill was not paid. the customer was serviced after bill was taken care of. J&j wastse refuse to service my address by the agreement that I wouild be service until the end of the paid quarter. The manager stated that in order foe him to services me I would have to pay for the next quarter. Desired settlementi wants my money for the last week of june/2014because I feel that I dont have to pay early for them to honor thier agreement. I could not want theior service after the paid quarter.

Over the last three weeks J&J have not picked up our trash but 1 time. This was only after making 3 phone calls to them.Our pick up is Friday. So Friday July 4th service should have been picked up on Saturday July 5th. When it was not picked up we started calling on monday to get service to not just us but our entire neighborhood who uses J&J. Finally, on Wednesday July 8th they came and picked up. However, the very next friday july 10th they did not pick up at all. Then they missed their scheduled July 18th pick up. This is not just my single home issue; all trash cans in our neighborhood of J&J are still out and have not been picked up. This company is violating a contracted service agreement in which we pay for weekly service. The company is hard to get a hold of when you call them, they never email back, and when you do talk to someone they are VERY rude and basically tell you that they arent worried about your problem. This has to end!!! Desired SettlementWith July service being as spotty as it has I am requesting a one month reimbursement from the company as they have caused more of a headache for me than its worth. If I do not receive a one month refund I will be cancelling my service at the end of this billing cycle.

This company is owned by the most disrespectful individuals I've ever encountered... The service is horrible, but yet they boast about having 7000 customers and how much money they make. Well, because your service is cheaper does not mean it's good service. Take your money elsewhere even if it means that you have to pay an extra 10 to $15. The level of customer service when you call in with a complaint is horrible. On 6/22/2015 my trash was not picked up. When I called JJ waste the lady told me the guy told her my can was not out. When I told her that was incorrect, she treated me as if I was lying. The guy in the background told her to tell me that they will pick up on the next pick up day.The lady begin to sound very irritated that I was requesting that someone come back out.I have a home surveillance system and offered for them to come to my home and view it to prove that my trash had been out since 9 oclock pm the night before. Needless to say, JJ waste needs a lot of improvement.They did not try to take the initiative to look into the situation at all. This company is very rude and unprofessional in all aspects. I have previously had to notify MPD because the boom on their trucks DO NOT WORK and the pick up guy was looking through our can! When I called to report that the guy was looking in the trash before emptying it, The guy stated that he was the owner AND ALL OF HIS TRUCKS WORK!I told him that that was incorrect because the guys lift the trash cans up to dump them. About 2 weeks later, they started sending a sit and lift truck to pick up our trash,however, the old truck was back once they proved they had at least one up to date truck.Its just really sad that they feel as if they can treat their paying customers with so much disrespect.Desired SettlementI feel as if I am owed a credit to my account due to the fact management showed no concern and they could have sent a truck out on the next day or made the guys back out on the same day. My dumpster is overflowing from the holiday and I would have to inconvenience myself by taking some of the waste out and taking it to dump it. The owner [redacted] is very unprofessional and vulgar. He is making unwelcome sexual advances to my foance. I spoke to mr [redacted] regarding his action and he became very beligerate and vulgar towards me. I'm a former client of his company. I canceled my service due to poor customer service and him sexually harassing my fiance. He used racial slurs towards me and threatened me with physical harm.Desired SettlementI'm filing this report as a legal procedure further action will be taken.Business Response The individual has never been a customer of J&J Waste, but they were Employed by us. They are a [redacted]. Please do not join them you will regret itI joined their services on May 28, 2014 and was told to make a payment of $65 by phone. Also I was told that I would received my trash can/cart in 2 weeks. It has been a month and a week and my cart still haven't arrived. I call them to state my issues and was told that they are low on carts and that I will received it in a week or 2. 2 weeks later It still haven't came, I call them again and told them that I have paid for my 3 months service already and why my cart haven't came yet. The lady rudely saying it's not there fault. Well yes it is!! At this point I am furious and want my one month refund added to the next month of my service. Lady rudely comment back telling me why am I repeating myself. Hello! Because You won't give me a good answer. Ending up not giving me an answer and told me to leave my number and she will call me when it comes. A week later got no answer, so I called them for the 3rd times and a man answer and told me the cart has just arrived and they will be heading it out before the holiday (July 4) and that I will receive mines by Tuesday or Wednesday. Once again it's July 3rd and it still hasn't came. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I have paid for service and I am not receiving any.I contracted garbage pick up service from j and j garbage pick up. Their address is p.o. box [redacted] tn.,phone #[redacted].I was offered a 20.00 cash back if I accepted automated bill pay. I did, and I did receive my 20.00. since then they have missed picking up my garbage three times in a row.I complained about the service. they tell me that I owe 70.00 for service. I show them where payment for service was deducted on june 16th, from my bank account in the amount 60.00. They apologize for the error and tell me everything will be corrected. Well today is garbage pick up Wednesday. guess what, no garbage pick up. I receive in the mail a bill stating that I owe 60.00 plus 10.00 late fee. I tried calling them they never answer the phone and when they did they put me on hold for 10 minutes, never returned to the phone. I think that this is so rude and very unprofessional and I have proof of the call in my phone. As far as this go I am done with them. I don't want an apology. just give me back my money so I may find reputable service else where.
