Response:First, the customer who filed the complaint was very disgruntled with our company for denying her the privilege to charge gas deliveries; after the appropriate procedures were undertaken to obtain her credit score, it was significantly below our standard so credit was deniedShe had been
placed for collection by a multitude of basic utility providersClearly, we are not the first company that has had issues with this customerShe made multiple attempts at not only our home office but at another location to have the credit application processed under another name, which is against our policyAfter she could not charge, she called us, demanding that we remove our leased propane tank from her property, and threatened that if not removed in the next hours it would be taken to the "scrap yard"Meeting her demands, two of our experienced technicians (the elder having been with our company for more than years), arrived at her home to remove the tankThe tank was appropriately and efficiently removed from the property; no gas lines were harmed in the removalAll lines were sufficiently capped off so that her next propane provider can hook up a new tankOur company went above propane regulations in that we capped the lines off and furthermore, free of chargeThe younger technician asserted that the customer came outside antagonizing him; she spat on him, became very aggressive, and screamed profanities at himAnything said to the customer was in complete self defenseAfter this encounter, she called our home office and as one of the owners listened calmly to her complaint, she then screamed profanities at him and hung up on him
