Review: a few weeks ago I took my 1990 acura integra to jk industries to have repairs done . I was having a problem with the car overheating and leaking anti freeze. this problem was very severe and I was not able to drive the vehicle without overheating. I was worried that the engine was permenantly damaged. the mechanic/owner of jk industries assured me that he would fix the problem... he told me that he tested the head gasket and that it was not blown. He replaced the water pump, timing belt as well as several hoses. in addition they fix my exhaust system and a few burnt out taillight bulbs needed for state inpection and emissions . in total my bill came out to 1160 dollars. the first day I picked up the car and drove a half mile to my home and the car began to overheat and spill anti freeze. I returned the car and the mechanic claimed that another hose broke. he replaced the hose and I picked up the car once again. the very next day I experienced the same problem. I returned the vehicle once again and was told of yet another blown hose. I picked up the car and it seemed to run well until approximately 2 weeks later I began experiencing antifreeze leaking as well as smoke coming from underneath the hood of my car. I called [redacted] at j and k industries and he told me he would look at it once again. He then called me and informed me that he checked the engine again but this time he found that the head gasket was leaking.. he informed me that this basically meant that it was only a matter of time until the engine would fail permenantly. I questioned him on why he did not see this problem sooner at which time he told me that it wasnt his fault and that I must have done it in the two weeks between my trips to his garage. I feel that he never checked the head gasket when he originally looked at my car and fixed other parts in order to make money off of me.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the money that was spent on the repairs to fix my overheating/antifreeze leak problems
