After reviewing the complaint and our records, I, the owner of J & K Peds, better understand the situation and the frustration of our former patientWe had a new receptionist handle the transfer of the
recordsShe has since quit due to personal reasons so I cannot confirm exactly the conversation that took place between her and the former patientIt would appear our employee did not inform the former patient of the charges to transfer the medical records which are fairly standard charges in our fieldOr at least we have no means to confirm or deny that factAs such, the fee will be waived, the former patient will not be sent to collections, and I hope this matter is resolved to the satisfaction of the former patientAny further concerns can be addressed directly with me
