Because the stain was caused by [redacted] and J&K did everything that our client asked us to do, we would only replace her countertop at cost of the granite she chooses

this letter is in response to complaint ID # *** *** received her granite in good condition with no stains and accepted the completion of her installGranite is a natural stone and porous and with any sealer, stains will still penetrate into the stone when cleaning maintenance is not

[I did not cause the stains! I have every phone call to J&K 3 from the first day they installed the granite and a cup of water was placed on counter by workers (which caused a stain). I gave them pictures and spoke to the [redacted] of J&K3 which they seem to think it's ok to blame a senior. I make 30 calls to this company in reference to this issue and I hired [redacted] a [redacted] (whom tried to remove the stains but he said it's the inferior granite that won't allow the stain to be removed. I sent you his phone no. but here it is again, so you can verify. ###-###-####.]J&K 3LTD should not get away with this and others like me should be notified and educated when they order granite from J&K3 Ltd. They did an injustice which I will have to deal for the rest of my life.[redacted]

Review: After many attempts at rectifying the issue with the granite that was installed by J&K3 Kitchen and Bath I find myself at wits end. After many complaint to J&K3 they gave me a check for $350.00 to see if another granite company could resolve the issue of removing stains and to correct the counters issue.
After the granite company [redacted] tried their best to seal the counter top (applying sealant three times) ,the counter was still pours and liquid still seeped through.
[redacted] from [redacted], an expert in restoration of granite came to the conclusion that the granite that J&B3 installed was defective and could never be sealed.Desired Settlement: This granite is defective and needs replacement at no charge to me. I have been very patient since they installed this defective counter top at beginning of summer. ( I have been litigating all summer).
