This client is correct, we do need to improve our customer service responsiveness.  As a small company that is quickly growing it has been sometimes difficult to maintain the level of customer service that we had prior to this sudden increase in business.  All my clients are important to me, this was a small job, a portion of what I originally quoted, however I was happy to do it for this client.  I regret that it took so long to return the remaining paint. In addition it was unfortunate that this client contacted me when I was unavailable due to a loss in my family last week.  My response to her when I delivered the paint was one of sadness and frustration.   I apologize for the length of time she had to wait and for any inconvenience she suffered.
