Jim is a great guy and excellent business man. I know he just saved us thousands by being attentive and honest. We have been using his service since 2002 and have our tank pumped every couple of years, needed or not. The most recent time was a couple of weeks ago. He noticed some concrete and plastic at the bottom of the tank and showed it to me. He told me the original outlet baffle (keeps the solids in the tank), made of concrete was done for, after 24 years. A bit of research confirmed Jim's diagnosis: if unaware or left un-fixed the leech field would be toast, costing a whole lot of money. I dug the hole myself to access the panel and Jim then returned to quickly add a new PVC baffle, which should last for life. For $100 our septic system will keep on doing its job.
