GOOD AFTERNOON,AS THE COMPLAINT STATES *** *** BROUGHT HER PILOT IN FOR A TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT WHICH WAS DUEAND YES WHEN DOING THIS MAINTENENCE REPAIR WE FOUND A OIL LEAK THAT IF TAKEN CARE OF WHILE DOING THE TIMING BELT WOULD SAVE THEN A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEYALL WAS GOODWE ALWAYS DRIVE
VEHICLES AFTER REPAIRS TO MAKE SURE ALL IS GOOD BEFORE GIVING THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE CUSTOMERSHE CAME AND PICKED THE VEHICLEALL WAS GOODTHEN WEEKS LATER SHE BRING THE PILOT BACK IN AND SAYS THE LIGHT FOR THE SRS SYSTEM IS ON, AND WE MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO IT WHEN THE TIMING BELT WAS REPLACED?? TIMING BELT AND SRS SYSTEM HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHERSO WE CHECKED IT OUT FOR FREE AND LET HER KNOW WHAT IT NEEDEDSHE ELECTED TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DEALER AND HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUTTHEY TOLD HER THE SAME THINGSO THEN SHE BROUGHT IT BACK TO US AND WANTED US TO FIX IT FOR FREE, PARTS AND LABORWHAT WE TOLD HER WAS THAT BOTH REPAIRS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER AND AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE WE WOULD PUT THE PART IN FOR FREE AS LONG AS SHE PAYS FOR THE PARTSMRS*** WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THAT AND CONTACTED YOU FOLKSI BELIEVE AS A VICTORY HONDA EMPLOYEE, THAT WE DID THE RIGHT THING AND TRIED TO HELP THE CUSTOMER OUT OF A STRANGE CONCERNNOT SURE WHAT ELSE WE CAN DO FOR HER.THANK YOU *** *** ***

The red warning light problem occurred right after the repair done by Victory HondaAs the first owner for this car for over years, we know that this car never had this problem beforeWe paid around $to do change the timing beltBut had a new problem after the repairWe believe the Victory Honda should be totally responsible for the bad result after the repair
