Juan was very pleasant to work with. My pool looks great!!! He did everything he said he was going to do and answered the phone every time I called him with a question. I received several bids and his was the best price. The workmanship was very good. I would recommend J&M.
I'm not upset with the job they did or the clean up they did. What we are upset about is that we feel Joun in a way tried to black mail us, and this is why.
We had our pool plastered with diamond crystal, [redacted] wanted us to purchase the start up package for $600.00. We did not do this. So he gave us a package of start up directions. They did not seem to be clear or complete. So we went to a pool company and they called [redacted] to ask some questions. this was the question. How long should they leave the miratice acid in the pool to bring out the crystals. [redacted] told her 3 to 4 days brushing twice a day. We did this while working with the pool company because this part is very important. after we started finishing the proses , the crystals never came out, so we called [redacted] ourselves and told him this, he said and I quote. "you have to start over and leave the acid in until you get the pool to look like you want" this is after speaking to the pool company and not saying this at all. Then he said we can do it for $600.00. I said no we just needed to know how to bring the crystals out. I said why did you not tell us this before we spent $250 on chemicals. He said you should have let us do it. Unwilling to work with you if you don't let them do it.
J&M performed very good work at a reasonable price. The team of workers was very friendly and [redacted] was honest in his assessment of the job and timeline to completion.
The new tile w/tan grout was completed very nicely. The new deck-o-seal was completed very nicely. The only negative here was the fact that they had to remove the new deck-o-seal from around the pool due to errors they made while replacing the coping grout. The new plaster job looks great except for three areas that have very conspicuous stains. [redacted] the project manager, has repeatedly told me that the stains will be removed, but has not followed through. I will have to hire another service to complete the re-plastering job. They replaced the 34 sf of decking and it looked fantastic, except they used the wrong color grout which had to be removed and replaced with the proper color. That left a mess. They power-washed and sealed all the coping and new decking. They did't remove totally, but sealed over the mess they left from having to remove all the wrong color grout. [redacted] repeatedly told me that the coping would look beautiful when they finished re-doing it, but it never happened.
