I am rejecting this response because it doesn't address the concerns we have that cost us time and money on this home remodelThis was a huge contract with our budget close to $100,for all of the improvements done to the houseOur time frame was three months, which he agreed toThe work included adding a 1/bathroom which required tunneling the slab to tie into the sewer and adding double vanities in the master and hall bathroomsIt also involved upgrading the electrical panel to amp, new water heater, relocating A/C into attic, tearing a kitchen wall and moving electricalAfter seeing new plumbing work to add a second sink in the master bath and the removal of the water heater, we asked repeatedly for him to a pull a permitOnly after we pressed the issue did he pull a general repair permitHe never had an electrician or plumber on the job - as was agreed to from day oneWe parted ways after voicing concerns with little activity on the job site and experiencing two weeks of little to no work occurringIt became clear J&M was working other jobs and wasn't making ours a priority or able to meet the agreed deadline. Back to the point of the complaint: J&M Remodeling worsened the electrical issues at the house and left an unsafe job site by throwing open junction boxes into the attic after tearing down a wall. What's upsetting is we didn't discover those issues until hiring an electrician to finish the jobWe had to pay additional money to fix the problems created by J&MThe new electrician discovered exposed wiring from open junction boxes touching attic insulationWe're just thankful the house didn't burn down.

ok [redacted] think about it, the entry to your house was a closet with no plugs, there fore no plugs to throw in attic, we added a wall in entry, no plugs to throw in attic.1st bedroom no electric,2nd bedroom ,no electric. master bedroom, you had 2 lights in ceiling, they went above your bed in closet,no plugs to throw in attic. dinning room going to garage.move wall back 8 inches, plug stayed in wall,no plugs to throw into attic, put up wall going into 1/2 bath,no wall came down so there was no plugs to throw into attic.kitchen there is never enough plugs in a kitchen to begin with so no plugs would have gone into attic, so where did these magic boxes come from.im telling you this house was added on to before (back patio) where the two red columns were there use to be a wall, quit listening to someone that wasn't there and quit blaming me, and fore all that wasn't done you got rid of me. I do things when its time to do things, I don't put my socks on before my shoes.the bath was next, the 200 amp panel was going to be the last thing to do in case electrician had too run a circuit for something, as far as 3 months I didn't guarantee it I said  I thought I could get it done. [redacted] lets be real you made so many changes and so many extras that you were making it impossible to meet any dead line.we painted the bedrooms and you didn't like the color(that you picked out) and we re-painted them remember.now your cabinet builder, did you file a complaint against him for doing plumbing, did you,he cut the damn vent pipe off for your kitchen, so now I guess you have a unsafe house with a smell in it, is that my fault also,he also cut square holes in the back of your cabinets for round pipes.intoduce him to a hole saw. tell me what else I haven't addressed.I kissed your as on that job, quit blameing me.also teach the guy that measured your mini blinds how to read a tape.. they need to be about 4 inches wider, by the way you do look good on t.v

I am rejecting this response because it doesn't address the concerns we have that cost us time and money on this home remodel. This was a huge contract with our budget close to $100,000 for all of the improvements done to the house. Our time frame was three months, which he agreed to. The work included adding a 1/2 bathroom which required tunneling the slab to tie into the sewer and adding double vanities in the master and hall bathrooms. It also involved upgrading the electrical panel to 200 amp, new water heater, relocating A/C into attic, tearing a kitchen wall and moving electrical. After seeing new plumbing work to add a second sink in the master bath and the removal of the water heater, we asked repeatedly for him to a pull a permit. Only after we pressed the issue did he pull a general repair permit. He never had an electrician or plumber on the job - as was agreed to from day one. We parted ways after voicing concerns with little activity on the job site and experiencing two weeks of little to no work occurring. It became clear J&M was working other jobs and wasn't making ours a priority or able to meet the agreed deadline.
Back to the point of the complaint: J&M Remodeling worsened the electrical issues at the house and left an unsafe job site by throwing open junction boxes into the attic after tearing down a wall. What's upsetting is we didn't discover those issues until hiring an electrician to finish the job. We had to pay additional money to fix the problems created by J&M. The new electrician discovered exposed wiring from open junction boxes touching attic insulation. We're just thankful the house didn't burn down.
