Ok we installed the customers supplied garage door opener and attached it to the original mounting hardware attached to the ceilingI had the techgo back to the job and inspect the installationHe found that the operator was mounted correctly and that there was no movement/ vibrationsHe also took pictures of the ceilingThey are not located anywhere near the operatorI have seen tape joints come loose in this area do to either moisture? due to all of the rain we have had this year and also settlingI am not a foundation expert so I can not say this gentleman's house has settledIn over years of installing doors and operators I never come across a garage door opener causing a ceiling to start coming apart[redacted] ***
