The original call was made on 06/27/for an air conditioner out Our technician went to the home and found that the outdoor coil was dirty and the capacitor on the unit was bad Unit was cleaned off and the new capacitor was installed The notes on the call said that unit was charged to specifications and no freon was needed or billed to the customer We have to put gagues on the outdoor unit to test for Superheat levels of the unit to check for proper freon levels The bill was paid on 07/13/through our website with a Thank You! in the notes The temperature for July and August of was in the mid to high 80's There was no calls in the two month time frame before the unit developed a leak The claim that we made the unit burst is completely unfounded A technician was sent out when the second call was made on 08/31/and found a joint in the inside of the unit was leaking There was a estimate made for $to braze the leak, vacuum the system and recharge with freon The compressor was not bad at the time it was a freon leak It is a rare problem but we have found this on multiple occasions Estimate was held until 10/27/then billed a $Diagnostic fee The technician that he is questioning was hired on 11/02/and worked for us until 08/26/ He was fired for poor customer service and not completing jobs in a timely and professional manor I will stand behind any work that we have done and take care of my customers to the best of our abilities but this was not caused by us

I would be agreeable to to the option of doing the repair for the $ If the office did not communicate the repair estimate than that falls on us for not following through with the correct response If *** would like to call the office and set up the appointment we will resolve this situation I would prefer to mend fences and make things right for everyone.ThanksJason

Thank you for your email responseI apologize for the delay in response as your email was in my junk mailI have added you to my safe email list. On 6/27/my wife contacted the owner, Jason, via facebook business to set up an appointmentIt was the first real got day of the summer
and our AC would not turn on I was the person at home when the repairman arrived He was having trouble with my unit because I have an advanced thermostat which he had not seen There re additional wires to the unit that I had to explain While diagnosing the problem he made a number of errors and asked questions I was surprised he would ask a home owner He replaced a capacitor and did a system check/service on the unit and left He never mentioned anything about the unit being dirty or needing cleaning only that he had checked the freon to see if it needed "topped off"I complained that the guy sent was really unprofessional Ironically, the following days were very mild I have attached my homes thermostat information which has the outside temperature listed for each day As you can see, the temperature outside barely broke degrees in between the original service date and the second visit on 8/31. What do I expect to transpire? First, I am offended that Jason sends me a late Bill for a minute service call when the technician he sent said "This NEVER BREAKS" you need to talk to Jason about what has happened When I spoke to Jason on the phone he admitted that the original technician he sent was terminated and had multiple complaints about his work He agreed to contact the Manufacturer to see what options we might have, he agreed though to work through the processJason got back to us on 9/and left a message that it was not under warranty, sorry This is when he broke all contact with myself and wifeHe would not respond to Facebook inquires or return phone callsOnly until I posted negative feedback about his business did he respond I reached out to the manufacturer myself and they confirmed what Jason's own technician said "this never happens" however they added, did you recently add or check freon?! They explained to me what a simple google search reveals, this type of failure is due to incorrect pressures You asked about warranty? When I see I Revdex.com approved business I expect them to send a qualified and competent technician to my house, not one who is "NEW" and terminated shortly thereafter for poor performanceThey should fully vet a new employee before sending them out to a customers home, and if there is a problem, they should stand behind whatever that employee does while conducting business Jason seems to think his customers should help him figure out who is good and bad through trial and error by his response This is not due to bad installation years ago, this was from poor work done by his technician. If Jason was at all concerned, he would have returned calls and maybe even came out to the house to take a look at what the technician he sent said "you really need to talk to Jason." That technician knew the original one sent was bad and was fired for poor work I have attached my data reportPlease let me know if you would like me to give you a call to clarify anything Thank you, ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Absolutely no resolution was offered.  Jason continues to contradict himself in his responses much like he did on the telephone.   Including "the repair man was fired for not professionally completing jobs," I agree! He just happened to do a wonderful job at my residence? He also says that the part rarely fails, however "they" see it often.  Does this mean they see this type of damage caused by their technicians?I also was never presented with a quote for a repair that was under $500. I would have GLADLY had that work done. I purchased a window unit to get me buy for the rest of the summer that cost $400 in which I still have the receipt for. Why the heck would I turn down a $500 offer to fix my unit and go out and buy a $400 little window unit.  (Because we never got a quote for $500).Jason continues to say he takes care of his customers, but he didn't install my unit.  He hasn't installed any of the units I have owned of the 15+ year period I have been a customer of his and his fathers.  So I am all of a sudden not a "customer" because he didn't originally install the units?" Why did he not tell me this over the years?.  It was his technician that came on the service call that I am being billed for that told me about the previous technician being fired and he needed to talk to Jason about how to handle it.  During the entire conversation it was "wow we never have this, and that guy was really bad. so bad he was fired."  How the heck would I have know he was fired if Jason's own technician hasn't told me".Jason can either continue to be combative, and I will continue the pursuit of this incident or we can come to an agreement.  The only agreement I would be willing to accept at this point would be for Jason to:A: Agree to fix the unit with his technicians, providing the service he described above, for the sum of $250 with a warranty to last one summer. With all I have had to do including buying a window unit, if Jason truly "takes care of his customers" he will not hesitate to agree to this suggested resolution. This is the simplest way for fences to be mended if there truly was a miscommunication between the two of us and Jason would be out little to no true expense. B. He can decide to confirm he never saw me as a customer, not want to come to a perfectly reasonable an amigable resolution.  I will unfortunately be forced to pursue this further by other means.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me.  I believe that Jason is trying to work with me and that's all I have wanted or ask.  I felt just as bad about losing what I thought was a local business who I was always happy with their work previously. I will call Jason and make the arrangements.
