J Peters Reviews (3)
Review: J Peters require all call in orders to give their card information. I guess this was ok since I have never had any problems with the [redacted] location. On Valentine's Day I made a call in order to pick up. I picked up my order and signed the debit card receipt a total of 39.00. I didn't leave a tip and I carried down my total. Feburary 15th later I checked my banking statment for J Peters was 44.00 so I called the restaurant. I spoke to a person name [redacted] the first time that said she had to talk with accounting and her [redacted]. They asked me was I sure I didn't leave a tip because one was added. I assure them I carried down and signed my receipt because I had a copy. Later that day [redacted] called me back and said someone added a tip on the register and they are not suppose to do that. She then asked how can she fix this problem. She took my address and offered to send me a gift card and refund my 5.00 dollars. I was ok with that since they did comment fraud with my banking information. I did get the 5.00 back but no gift card. At this point I can't believe any J peters to do a call in or handle my debit card with eat in or carry out.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund. They have showed bad customer service and dishonesty.
We feel as though we handled the complaint accordingly. Although we were not 100% sure that the employee added the tip to the receipt we terminated the employee for adding the tip to the credit card receipt. We then refunded the money out of our pocket. There were no complaints about the food so we did not reimburse for that. As an Owner and leader of over 500 employees I would hope that we make no mistakes and our employees are always honest but it just isn't so. I am truly sorry that this inconvenienced our guest out of $5.00 but we repaid the debt out of our pocket not the employees. The food was perfect, no complaints. We will not be reimbursing for that.
Review: On December 27, 28, and 29- we placed an order for prime rib sandwiches, and wings. The meal was delicious on December 27 and 28- so we ordered again on December 29. We live 15 minutes away form the restaurant. When we got home on December 29 to eat our dinner the bread was hard and the meat was hard on the ends- nothing like what we order the two previous evenings. I called back and spoke with a manager and was told that when the sandwich left the restaurant it was fresh and would not be replaced. I have been a supporter of this restaurant (both locations) since they came to [redacted]. I asked to speak to the owner- and was told that the owner stated "the sandwich would not be replaced." I'm very disappointed in the manner in which the situation was dealt with. I was asking for a replacement of my sandwich, and I think this should have been handled in store instead of me having to contact Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Replacement or refund of my meal
