with repairing and obtaining factory parts. Also at little to no financial gain. The radio in question was purchased on August 22nd 2014 and the warranty and free labor warranty given by us only and not the radio manufacturer will still stand until August 22nd 2015. We will also still offer the repair at the original cost. We cannot however be responsible for damage we did not cause.

There is no way that I'd expect you to cover damage that was not caused by your technicians. I'd like to address directly some of the things you stated in your response. The radio was still under warranty per what you offered. the actual radio itself was not damaged in any way, so it wasn't a manufacturers issue. the problem from what you found was a wiring issue which came back to an installation problem. Before any work was done to the radio one of your technicians came out to my truck to take a look at it. At this time he did not notice see or point out any dashboard problems. When I brought my truck in on the day of the appointment to get the warranty work done on the truck no one noticed or pointed out any dashboard problems at that point either. As soon as I return to pick it up after the warranty work was completed dashboard problems around where the radio sits are all of a sudden easily noticed. I immediately go back in and bring one of the employees from the front office to look at it and he sees exactly what my concerns are before I had to tell him. he goes in to get a technician to see if he could do something about this problem. The technician looks at it and describes what the problem is and how it could have happen. He stated that the clamps built onto the hard plastic adapter was bent while taking it off and is now preventing it to sit right in the dash board. So one of your technicians bent the hard plastic clamps while taking it off to get to the wiring of the radio. as a result the face does not sit properly in the dashboard. Your technician went on to tell me that the improper way that it is fitting into the dash due to broken clamps will not affect the way the radio plays or operates so that I should be ok. So, I'm not asking that you replace anything that you did not cause damage to. I'm asking that you show a little professionalism and replace and install the parts that you did cause damage too.

We would like you to come in so we can take a look at this we do not believe we damaged it but we are willing to take a look at this to get it resolved. In order to move forward with this we need to assess what is wrong with the dash to order any necessary parts. Please contact me when you have a chance so we can get this matter resolved.
