Dear [redacted] :I am writing to you on behalf of Le Vian Corpin response to the complaint made by [redacted] to Revdex.comAs an initial matter, we are a wholesale manufacturing company and we are not aware of any of the facts involving the retailers mentioned in the complaintOur records indicate that this ring was sent to us for sizing but due to the very special sizing, 3.5, this ring had to be manufactured overseas in that size and could not simply be sizedOur standard size is 7, which we can size up or down up to a size and half depending on the structure of the ringHowever a is significantly smaller and has to be made completely newly in that sizeThe fact that a brand new ring had to be made may account for the time it took for [redacted] to receive the ringOur standard time for special orders, such as this, is 6-weeks, and from the time we received the order and the time it took for the ring to be returned took weeks, which is still pretty standardAnother reason for the delay could be that this order was not processed through the retailer the ring was purchased through but through another retailer that did so as a courtesyThe first time we received this complaint was yesterday July **, Since then [redacted] has returned the ring and it is being sent directly to our repair department for evaluation, we should be receiving it this weekWe can make any repairs or replacement after assessing the piecePlease note that Chocolate Diamonds are natural colored brown diamonds and range from C4-Con Argyle Diamond's color scaleAs such there will be a natural variance in the color of these stones and no exact way of matchingWe have no way of knowing what the original ring [redacted] purchased looks like to be able to try to match as closely to that ring as we possible canWe ask that [redacted] send in any images that will be assist us and we can be in contact with her to know the specifics of what she thinks is differentImages should be sent to my attention at [redacted] along with the best way to contact [redacted] Also, I would like to point out that this piece has already been registered and will be receiving a limited lifetime warranty per the terms and conditions of the limited Lifetime warrantyWe do not issue lifetime warranties, only limited lifetime warranties per the terms and conditions of such warrantiesIf you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly Respectfully,Farnaz H [redacted] General CounselLe Vian Corp

Dear ***, Thank you kindly for your reply. I am most grateful to you and LeVian for responding to my complaint but am sorry it took filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, especially after attempting to escalate my complaint within your company on several occasions, but to no avail.I acknowledge and appreciate your offer but am undecided if I shall accept your proposal or rather pursue my original request for a complete refund. This decision isn't an easy one, for the following reasons; Firstly, after my many dealings with LeVian over the past months, my confidence in both your product and service leaves much to be desired. We feel we have been more than patient, but in the end were pushed to the point where we no longer wished to have any further dealings with your company. Secondly, in the beginning my husband spoke of wanting to purchase the matching eternity ring as a gift on our first wedding anniversary but once again due to our disappointing experience, this is no longer even a consideration. So sadly, I would not get to wear this ring as a symbol of our lasting affection. For my last reason, I wish to share a story with you. I was previously married and shortly after our engagement our house was broken into, after which we decided it would be a good idea to have my engagement ring valued for insurance purposes. The valuation resulted in us finding out that the diamond ring we had bought was in fact nothing more than a worthless cubic zirconia. Words cannot express the devastation and betrayal I felt from learning this news. After a lengthy and very upsetting process the jeweller finally settled and replaced the zirconia with a diamond but sadly I could no longer look at my ring with the same love for it I once did. Instead it seemed to me to be filled with bad memories and became a constant reminder of an awful experience. That feeling never faded or altered in the years I wore that ring. I am an extremely sentimental person and I fear the same will happen with these rings. Whilst this final reason has no direct connection with you, I hope you will accept it in the manner it is meant, which is to simply convey to you all the reasons why this has not been an easy decision for me to make. Had your company provided satisfactory customer care and presented a solution much earlier, I would feel very differently to the unfortunate way I feel now. Stephanie, I do greatly appreciate that LeVian are now offering a solution but sadly it may just be too late. I hope you can understand and respect my wish should I choose to request a complete refund. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you in person, time difference permitting and I am asking for some time to consider your proposal. I have loved these rings since first setting my eyes on them whilst visiting NJ in 2012...we went to great lengths, and expense to purchase them so please understand this is not a decision I am making lightly. complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved, not only in a timely fashion have they responded to me I was given a few options to choose from, one being a refund, and the option to rebuild my ring. I chose to have them build me a new one. I am absolutely happy with all of the customer service, and they have kept in constant contact with me through emails. Not once did they complain about anything, and everyone I spoke with was more than happy to help. Thank you!!! To the LeVian team for everything they are doing, they do have amazingly stunning pieces of jewelry, and were willing to correct any issues. I would recommend them in the future, and plan to purchase more pieces from them in the near future!
