Good Afternoon ***, My Name is Dan *** and I am the Manager here at Two Men and a Truck. I was also out on the move Sunday unloading the Trucks that were completely loaded from the night beforeand going back to load the remaining truck. We did ask your wife if she would like us to go to the load site after we unloaded the first truck or if she would like us to unload the other truck first. She explained that you guys had until midnight to be out of the home so we could unload the second truck first I would like to apologize for the estimate going so far different. It is never our intention of having situations like yours happen. I know you booked your move just a couple days before your move date and we were able to squeeze you into the last truck we had available. As for regarding the estimate itself, we base estimate on the information that is provided by our customersWe do place a lot of responsibility on our customer to give us as much information as we can. If we would have know that the house itself was a 5000sqft home being placed into a smaller 1400sqft home with to boxes we would have better be able to assist you. The only information that was provided was that we are moving items on the main floor and moving into a bedroom town home. We did email you a "Home Inventory Checklist" in hopes that you may be able to fill it out so we can address the truck capacity. I am here to try to walk thru the procedure as best I can. Good Morning ***,I am sorry about the length of time your move took. We do our best to give as accurate of an estimate as we can. I know that 3-hours of time was wasted waiting for you to bring us out the key to the storage. That time could have been better utilized to place
everything in storage. As for your items left in the house, as you found out we do not carry special tools to disassemble exercise pieces and as the men were waiting they spoke with the only representitive there which was your girlfriend. She confirmed the address to the storage and the guys departed expecting you guys to meet them at the storage unit. As for the move that took place on Saturday we did not bill you for that time. I am here to work with you as much as I can as I stated in our conversations but had the guys or the office knew the exercise items were ready to be moved we would have gone back and grabbed them. Not letting us know until the next week, there is very little we could have done. If you can get access to the home we are more than willing to help get those items out. I do apologize that we ran late to your move.  It is always our intention to arrive within the window of arrival we go over with our customers, but at times with moving, unpredictable things can happen.  As a result of situations we were unable to predict or prevent we arrived late. ...

As compensation to you we sent out an extra mover and discounted some of your move.  As for the trouble with the cord,  with the amount of time it took for us to be notified that you could not find the cord to your elliptical, it can be a challenge for us to try and find it.  My Manager that you had spoken with thought he had found the cord, but it was not the same style. It sounds like we have received the cord from a third party vendor and just need to send it to you, which I believe my claims team is already on this.  I apologize again for your issues, we do our best to make every move go as smooth as possible, but if it does not we try to make it as right as we can. Sincerely,Dan [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  Our brand new desk was broken in half.  They advertise that they are bonded and insured.  In order to 'fix' this desk, they would have to purchase new main parts of the desk.  They would need a new top and side.  It is reasonable...

for us to expect a new desk to replace the broken one.  This is asinine and false advertisement on the part of the company.  This is our last attempt before going through the legal process, which I'm fairly confident, will be more expensive for the company.  I'm so over trying to deal with their unprofessional practices and would not recommend them to anyone.  Actually, people need to be warned of this company.

I am rejecting this response because: I talked with Dan, the manager, and was told there was nothing they could do. He said he was not part of the original conversation when I was quoted so in turn it is just "he said you said". I asked him if he felt going from a $900.00 quote to a $4800.00 bill was ridicules and was told he had no comment. He said there would be no type of refund so as far as I'm concerned, this is an unsolved issue.Thank you, [redacted]
