and federal laws. Having said that, we want to emphasize that Onward Credit is in full compliance with state and federal laws and Mr***’s complain does not specify that Onward Credit did something improper. When Mr*** applied and was approved for a line of credit on October 21, he spoke with a customer service agent who went over the features of the product. Mr*** was also presented an Account Agreement which fully disclosed all charges associated with the accountFurthermore, Onward Credit verified and confirmed Mr***’s email to ensure that he can receive periodic account statements that detail every aspect of account activity. Periodic Account Statements were provided to Mr*** in accordance with his agreementOnward Credit offers its customers ability to pay off full balance early in order to reduce account charges. Mr*** contacted Onward Credit on 11/15/and scheduled a full payment. However, he changed his mind on 11/17/due to personal circumstances. We want to assure Mr. [redacted] and Revdex.com that Onward Credit is a valid and licensed lender in the state of KS and follows all applicable state and federal laws....
Our license is available on our website as well as the register of State of Kansas.Our records indicated that Mr. [redacted] electronically signed his agreement on March 10th, 2016. We also never received a payment from Mr. [redacted], however bank account on file was funded with a total of $500 from Onward Credit. When Mr. [redacted] notified us that his identity might have been compromised, we were happy to assist in any way possible. However, for the security and privacy of his account as well as following best practices in handling such situations, we did request a proof of identity theft. Mr. [redacted] did provide police report and subsequently we completely wrote off Mr. [redacted]'s account and closed it. At this point, Mr. [redacted] does not owe anything to Onward Credit. Furthermore, representatives of Onward Credit informed Mr. [redacted] that Onward Credit does not work with [redacted] and therefore does not report information to these credit reporting agencies.We respectfully consider this complaint closed
