J. R.'s Texas Bar-B-Que

my husband and I visited this place for the first time on Saturday November 3rd at around 8:40 pm. we ordered our food which was a 1/2 lb of brisket for me with mac n cheese and potatoe salad and a med drink. My husband ordered baby back ribs with corn bread and corn on the cobb and a medium drink. we recieved our food and the corn was cold and the corn bread was over cooked from the microwave and it was hard. I had hair in my potatoe salad and the meat was cool/room temp. The bbq suce was cold also. The soda machine was not working either which we noticed after buying our sodas. I attempted to talk to manager which I was told wasnt on site and couldnt be reached until monday morning at 9:00 am. The employees on duty explained to me they couldnt give any refunds period when I asked why they acted as if they couldnt understand me. I attempted to contact another manager at a different location and was told no one was availible. so I sat in the resturant with my husband searching online to find owner and manager contact information. Finally I did and I descibed throughly in an email to the manager what had happened. I followed up the the manager [redacted] on monday morning and she told me she would be contacting me back. around 2:00 I recieved a call from the owner JR and was being called a liar and told he would never refund our money and he advised me we never complained to his staff which we did. He went on to say I was with a woman not a man because my husband looks like a woman on film. he told me tooo bad about the soda machine he rents it from 7up and its not his issue. he again called m a liar about sending any email and hung up in my face. I called the manager back and he took the phone from her and yelled at me again and said too bad conversation over bye. Im very upset about this visit and not sure what else to do we spend $35 dollars here and everything was awful.
