new one now but I live on a fixed income and desperately need the $168 that I paid J&S for the repair.

Review: I hired J&S A/C & Appliance Repair to repair my refrigerator. I paid by check and was informed that one of the checks was not cleared. After I made the payment by paypal, this company cashed my check and refused to refund my money and take my phone calls. Its been over three months.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded for the amount of $194.66 I paid for services and an additional $20.00 charged for uncleared check fees, a total of $214.66.

Review: I am almost 86 years old and extremely hard of hearing. I had a friend call for refrigerator/freezer repair and had a service call on January *, 2014. All they did was defrost my freezer. I paid $168, which was guaranteed.
Called on February [redacted] to say that the freezer was still not working properly. We got disconnected and I called back several times, in addition to sending e-mails to explain the situation. Spoke to a woman and was told that someone would either come that day or two days later but that they would send an e-mail letting me know when, since it is difficult for me to speak on the phone. They did not come or contact me. My friend called again on February [redacted], as well as sending e-mails. Briefly spoke to someone there (a woman -- I believe the same one to whom my friend spoke on the [redacted]. We were disconnected again and despite phone leaving phone messages and more e-mails, no one has contacted us again. My friend left a message this morning at 10:00 to say that if we didn't hear back from them by noon today, that we would register a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like them to come and fix my refrigerator/freezer, since I paid for the service. If they aren't going to fix it, I would like a refund of the money I paid, so that I can call someone else. My freezer keeps going on and off and if the food is ruined, I would like them to pay to replace it.

Review: we hired them to repair a refrigerator, they charges us $505.92, 2 days after the repair was made it stopped working. we have called many times for them to come back and fix it. they have missed 2 promised appointments to come back and now they do not return our phone calls. we are with out a refrigerator for 3 weeks nowDesired Settlement: we would like to have it fixed or get our $505.92 refunded to us
