Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,*** ***My complaint is that this product was falsely advertised and that Bryan will not stand behind the product not performing as shownAs you can see from the attached picture, this washing machine is sold as a washer that can do a small load, large load or super load with photos of the clothing filling the wash tub for the indicated wash cycles. I was told by Bryan that he would make things right, that he wanted me to be satisfiedBryan suggested I take time off work for a repairman to come to my house, as they don't work afternoons or weekendsI won't use a sick day to get a washer repairedThat is why it has taken so long to try and get this resolved. It is unfortunate that Bryan did not keep his word

The customer originally complained that the washer did not fill all of theway to the top of the tub. I explained that the federal government requiresall new washers to be more efficient than the old models and that the do useas much water as the old ones did. She then said that it was acting...

funnyand was erratic in how much it filled. I then told the customer that the onlything that could cause this problem is if the pressure switch was bad. I toldthe customer I would order it so that our technician would have the partwhen we went there. After the part was in, our technician went over and putthe part in. The customer said that it helped but it still didn't fill all the wayup. I then reiterated that it does not fill all the way to the top.The customer was still not happy so I sent the technician over onceagain with the instructions of calling GE's technical assistance line to goover the operation of the washer with the customer. GE's own techniciansconfirmed that the appliance was working as designed. The customer wasstill not satisfied with the result and demanded that we exchange theappliance or give them a credit. Being that the machine was almost a yearold and was operating as designed I informed the customer that there wasnothing I could do. A few days later the customer called and threatened thatif I did not exchange the machine the company would be turned over to theRevdex.com. I informed the customer that it was fine because we had done our dodiligence in making sure that there wasn't a problem with the machine. Itwas working as designed.

To whom it may concern,Here at J&S Appliance we do not put any advertising on the appliances. Alladvertising is done through the manufacturer. The advertising in question is a genericmagnet that the manufacturer puts on all of the washers. It shows no water levels on themagnet, just the amount of clothes that would constitute each load size. This machinecan do all of the load sizes indicated on the control panel. As I stated in the laststatement, out technician went out to the house and called the manufacturers technicalassistance line to show the customer that in fact the machine was working as designed.In regards to trying to make the customer take time off of work, I tried to get her toleave a key or have some one else meet us there to make sure that the machine wasworking properly. We wanted to make sure this machine was working properly as soonas possible. We do service between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weschedule twenty service calls a day and over half are rentals or absentee owners. NWe have done our best to take care of this customer however the customer has nottaken the necessary steps to resolve this in the proper way. We do not make theappliances. We sell and service the appliances. After advising the customer that themachine was working properly, the next step is to call GE Customer service and tell themthat she was unsatisfied with how the machine works. After that GE contacts us as theservice company to find out what the problem is if any. Then it is up to GE on whetherthey are willing to replace the machine with a different model or give the customer a newone.
