This vehicle is still not fixthing on this list was new tires where this tires still go flatI see Peter is not a man of his word and next is to see you back in court for this matterPeter and everyone with this shop knows how much it means to meMy father has nothing to do with this caseI feel like I was walk all over and I so hurt that this matter is still going onSince J&S is mainly refusing to fix this vehicleI'm going for emotional distressI've tried to handle this the right wayIt's been long enoughThis vehicle is at the shop now where it's was the motor all along that J&S could not fix something that was rebuilt by themAll I can say is this should not have went this far and Peter should have took this and handleNeedless to say is I'm not paying this shopI had to pay for something that you could not put together and now dishing out more money for something that should have been fix alreadyThanks anyway for you to refuse to help me.

JULY 22, 2016This letter is in response to complaint ID # [redacted]; registered by [redacted] in regard to service and repairs on her vehicle; 1998 [redacted].First, as you can detect from the enclosed repair orders [redacted] and her father have been good customers over the years and we have...

served them as valued customers. Second, [redacted] originally had a problem with her cooling system on this vehicle which we repaired and received compensation. Third, [redacted] returned to the shop on 1/9/2015 for a knocking noise and overheating. The customer was told she needed a timing change, new oil filter housing and pangasket, and power steering pump with hoses. The service was performed and the customer paid and was satisfied. On 4/2/2015 the customer returned for an inspection but the check engine light was on and the vehicle had a knocking noise and did not pass the emissions nor safety testing. The customer gave J & S permission to fix the vehicle.J&S repaired the pitman arm and bracket for the safety inspection. While checking and diagnosing the vehicle for engine problems, the mechanic did leave a cardboard under the hood. The customer was told that this repair was becoming difficult to diagnose and the tech suggested the vehicle be taken Somewhere else for a second opinion. The customer picked up the vehicle and it was taken to another shop where the customer was told the cardboard damaged the engine. The owner did not agree with their response because the engine was not the issue for this vehicle and the vehicle had apparently been driven by the other company without having lifted the hood and overheated. The customer was upset with the owner's response so she decided to take it to court where she was awarded an engine.On 9/22/2015, J&S Auto began the transition of placing a new engine in the vehicle which included all new seals, gaskets, and all equipment for another timing chain job. The vehicle ran well enough to pass an emissions test but within 24 hours a check engine light re-appeared.The customer was told the code was calling for a knock sensor. Peter informed the customer that he was not putting any more money into the vehicle and he was told to proceed. The knock sensor was put in and another code appeared for an engine computer. The customer purchased her own engine computer and the vehicle was towed to Penske Buick for programming. The vehicle drove back to the shop and the customer was told to pick up the vehicle. The customer wanted to continue with the inspection but within 24 hours the check engine light was back on the vehicle. After several failed attempts to get the vehicle up and running Peter decided to send the vehicle to [redacted] and told the customer any repairs that were caused by him he would pay for. [redacted] was unable to fully diagnose the vehicle. Their suggestion to change the cap and rotor and other minor repairs we had Completed in the past at no charge to the customer. The customer is upset more so over the time that has lapsed and the vehicle still having repair problems which prevent its inspection. J&S Auto respects that it is a sentimental value but when does the customer realize that we have reached the limit with the vehicle. The customer was upset that she needed to pay the diagnostic fee at [redacted] (when indeed she was told we would pay if at fault only). The customer has an outstanding invoice of $398.31 at J & S.We have done over $6000 of warranty work for the customer! Customer is aware!!
