I have tried to call this business to get some knowledge on how I have an $11,000 debt and when they answer the phone it’s very rude and put you on hold then hang the phone up. When you call back the phone is busy. I’ve tried going through the credit bureau but they keep verifying my information but can’t verify it to me. I need help these people are hovering over my credit like vultures and won’t even give the decency of a conversation.

After notification from J & S COLLECTIONS agencies that I owe to their company debtI am allowed days to dispute the validity of the debtAccording to the FDCPA they must validate a debt to the debtor if the debtor responds to their primary notice within a matter of daysI have done that on 12/25/2011,and my certified mailing number is: *** *** *** *** ***
Knowing that the said debt is not correct, I asked for any exact evidence, and the proof requested from J & S COLLECTIONS is as follows:
1-Date you purchased debt
2-Amount you paid for said debt
Date of last payment / activity if any
4-Creditors full name and address
5-All records pertaining to actual debt to prove validity
Proof of your right to own / collect this alleged debt
7-Balance claimed including all fees, interest and penalties
8-Contract bearing my personal signature
9-License proof to collect debts and my state
Also, I asked J & S collection agency, If they are unable to prov

I as a customer was very offended as a woman and human beingHe was extremely condescending, he laughed at me, he says he is the owner of the company and refused to comply with information regarding email or fax information for this companyhe told me he didnt have to answer to me and hung up in my faceI should not even be a customer with this company due to identity theftHe refused to acknowledge this fact

I have sent J & S collections certified letters in regards to the fraudulent account they have placed on my credit and I have not got a response but they have responded to the credit bureaus alleging the account belong to meI was not notified by them about the debt so I was never afforded the opportunity to dispute itI DON'T KNOW WHO THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR IS

Review: After notification from J & S COLLECTIONS agencies that I owe to their company debt. I am allowed 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt. According to the FDCPA they must validate a debt to the debtor if the debtor responds to their primary notice within a matter of days. I have done that on 12/25/2011,and my certified mailing number is: [redacted].

Also, I asked J & S collection agency, If they are unable to provide me with proper proof then they must stop attempting to collect this alleged debt. If they continue to claim I owe a debt that they can not confirm then they will be in direct violation of the FDCPA. Additionally, I asked them that any attempt on their part to report fabricated alleged debt to my credit reports will be a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

In early 2016, after checking my credit history, fabricated and unverified account was standing on Credit Bureau as bad debt, which was set up by J & S collection agencies.

Again I sent them certified letter, receipt number: [redacted], in which I formally advise them that I believe their company has violated several of my consumer rights. Specifically they:

-Failed to validate a debt at my request- FDCPA violation

-Ignored my cease and desist- FDCPA violation

I sent the attached copy of the previous request but written response from J & S again not arrived.Desired Settlement: I want this problem to be cleaned and removed from my credit history as soon as possible. And that similar companies like J & S be checked frequently by the law, and to be punished by merit. That people, and ordinary workers, which have uncleaned debts, also be checked to determine the reason why they have debts, and that in a legal way, be allowed to return their debts, if there are debts at all.
