I had J & S Services come over for quotes Nice professional workers The heating guy Josh turned off my furnace He left a ladder by the switch and I was out of the room I asked why the ladder was there and he said he was checking out the furnace The quote was high and I thanked them After they left the house kept getting colder The next day after I was trembling by the fire I went to the furnace and realized the switch was turned off I turned it on and the furnace turned back on I was dealing with hospitals all night and if I had stayed away, I could have had all my pipes burst I called them to yell at them for doing this First the receptionist said I was red tagged I told her she is wrong She transferred me to Wayne He was carefree and didn't make a big deal about it I was yelling if they could have wiped out my house and I've been trembling all night I asked how he would have liked it if this happened to his wife or mother He said it never would have I expected a call from Josh who did this and he said he's busy I asked him if this is a common practise to turn off people's heat and he said yes He didn't care if I was upset I told him I will put this complaint online He said you would have done this anyway *** *

All our dealings with the staff at js-plumbing have been excellent. David the chief plumber was amazing, patient and very thorough and his assistants were also equally as good. We had a new Kinetico water softener installed along with two new Toto toilets and work done to the outside hose bibs. All the work was done in a day and David came back to address a few issues that arose and dealt with all of them professionally and very cheerfully , so refreshing in today's business climate. In fact everyone we talked to at js-plumbing were all very friendly and professional...I highly recommend this company for your plumbing issues

[redacted] Three hundred bucks to cap two copper pipes in the kitchen. Total time at the house: 30mins. Works out to a rate of $600/hr. Also took my two SS braided hoses on top of that. Called several times to ask for them back, but they stalled and stalled until I gave up. [redacted]

J&S picked an appointment time but did not show. When I called them they said that they would find out what was going on and call me right back. Over an hour later I called again. I had to drag it out of the receptionist but she admitted that the technician was not coming because he was 'busy on another call'. What is frustrating is that they picked the time, emailed to say the technician was on the way an hour before he was to arrive, but it became my fault because I missed an unexpected phone call.
Over two hours of waiting (time I'll never get back), getting blamed for their error, and now I have to search for a different plumber. What a way to run a business.
