Called early in the morning and left a message to get an estimate for tree removalGot a call back a little while later and said they would be out between 3pm-7pm the same dayAlthough not happy about the time window I was glad to get in right awayWell it is not 7:27pm and I received no estimate and no courtesy call to let me know they weren't going to make it todayVERY unprofessional!

My company did damage to a section of fence while removing a tree 11/2/and are willing to have the damage
repairedInitially it was perceived to be my customers fence due to its orientation along the property line, i.ethe face of the pickets were viewed from my customers neighbors yard, which is not a installation practiceDue to my perspective I was unprepared for the neighbor lady's aggressive confrontation and thought her to be overreacting
The damage I caused to the neighbors fence was limited to a cracked (did not break into half) and knocked loose picket and apparently a cracked lower rail of the same section of fence which the upper rail had already been recently replacedNoting that a picket on the same section of fence had been backed up with another board and reinstalled I offered to reinstall the cracked picket I knocked looseMy offer was rejected
A day later, per a phone conversation I agreed to having a contractor make repairs on the damage I imposed on their fence providing I received a copy of the estimate for repairsThe estimate provided was excessive and it included other repairs to the fence I am not responsible for
The complaint also suggests that I have been less than respectful to them and their contractorI have remained professional and considerate with this issue and have had no correspondence with their contractorI absolutely want to make amends for the damage I caused but will not be subjected to other repairs of the fenceI have obtained a matching picket and offered to acquire a replacement lower rail and have it installed but that offer has been rejected

As stated by J&S Tree Service, we rejected the initial offer because we didn't want a broken picket put back on our fenceIt is more than crackedIt is broken in half, not separated in half but broken in halfThe lower rail is also cracked/broken and another picket has been knocked looseIn addition, a post was broken and the fence now leansThe fence had just been thoroughly repaired and inspected just a short time before J&S damaged our fenceAny business that causes damage to someone's property should and usually does repair/replace damaged itemsThe agreement that was made, as J&S has also stated, was that the contractor who worked on the fence would come out and give an estimate for the repairOnce J&S received the estimate, they would pay the contractor to repair the fenceAs stated previously, we would like J&S to pay the contractor to repair the damageWe are not asking J&S to judge the estimate but simply keep his wordWe have not asked for any repairs that were not caused by J&SWe do not want a partial repair but a full repair as stated on the estimate by the contractorAll boards and posts were replaced and repaired a few months priorThis has taken an extraordinary amount of time and the fence still is not repairedBecause the fence has not been repaired, another post has broken due to the leaning of the fence caused by the first post broken by J&SWe are not asking for this additional repair, just the original list of repairs caused by J&S on 11/2/We are asking for the pickets to be replaced/repaired, the lower beam replaced and the post to be replacedWe do not want a partial repairWe are asking that this local business in our community would have integrity and provide customer service and repair the damage they caused by paying the agreed upon contractor to repair the fenceThis business is insured and part of Revdex.com and should have the integrity and willingness to fully repair the damage and claim with insurance if necessary

I have apologized for damaging your fence, offered to repair the damage, agreed to paying a contractor to repair the damage I caused and even sought out a matching picket to replace the one I cracked
Your continuing criticism of my company's reputation is unwarrantedI have been honest and fair in my effort to resolve this matter
I will release a check to you for $only if you accept it as payment in full, not "partial payment" as worded in your last letter to the Revdex.comAdditionally you must agree that the acceptance of this payment acknowledges the final closing of this matter allowing for no further doubt or dispute
Please sign and forward me a copy of this letter in order to receive your compensation

On the day J&S Tree Service damaged our fence, they said that it wasn't possible to repair the fence because it wasn't possible to get a matching picket and they were not skilled to repair the fenceJ&S claimed they were just going to nail the broken picket onto the fenceThe next day, on the phone, we came to an agreement that a contractor would come out and assess the damage, estimate the cost to repair the fence and J&S agreed that they would pay the contractor to repair the damageWe understand J&S has apologized for damaging the fence but when they received the estimate for the damage to be repaired, J&S refused to follow through on their commitment to pay the contractor
Now once again J&S has refused to follow through on their commitment to send us the check for the $dollars offeredJ&S has changed the terms now requiring a signature and accepting it as payment in fullIt is not payment in full and we cannot sign such a statement because that is falseFull payment as stated in the contractor's estimate is $$is partial paymentIt does not equal $
We are willing to accept the $understanding that it only covers part of the damage caused by J&S Tree ServiceWe are simply stating the facts that J&S is only paying for partial repair and that they have not followed through on their commitment several timesWe want other customers to be aware that this is how J&S Tree Service does businessWe are willing to accept the $to help with the cost of the repairsWe cannot sign a statement that this is payment in full and we should not have to deal with a company that continues to change the terms of agreementThis is not honest and fair businessWe did not even hire J&S Tree ServiceOur property was damaged by J&S and they have been unwilling to keep their commitment and pay for the damage
In addition, we have additional expenses from more damage that has been caused because the original damage was not taken care of promptlyA broken fence cannot support itself against the wind and elementsWe are not asking for payment for that, just payment for the original damage, fulfilling the original agreementWe are thankful it was just our fence that was damaged and not our house or car given how J&S has handled the situation with a lack of integrity to keep commitmentsA professional company would have paid for their damage, dealt with it promptly, and not continued to haggle for several months
We cannot sign a statement that the $is full payment because it is notA company with integrity would not ask someone to sign a statement

*** *** *** are an awesome team to work with They came to my property and eased my mind by getting rid of a large branch that I was concern about over my bedroom They helped clean up all my trees on my property and educated me on what trees I had and the health of them They gave me a fair price and were easy to work with! I’ll be using them in the future and highly text them for both large and small jobs
