On 12/6/*** *** consulted with one of our colorists about correcting her hair color that she had been previously doing herself at home with non-professional haircolor During that consultation, it was explained to Ms*** that getting her hair to her target color would be a
process and would take several appointments to achieveShe agreed and scheduled the first of her corrective color appointments Ms*** returned for her first color appointment on 12/10/and was happy with her color when she left Several days later, she called to say she was now unhappy with her color, saying it is not what she wanted It was reiterated to Ms*** that she would not be able to achieve the color in a single session, because of the state her hair was in when she first came to us We also brought it to her attention that she was made aware of this during her initial consultation, before we agreed to work on her haircolor As a gesture of good faith, we invited Ms*** to consult with the head of our color department to and on 12/16, she had another consultation where it was re-explained to her that her hair will take multiple sessions to get the color she desired, and made a recommendation to schedule the next appointment in weeksIt was made clear at this time that this would not be a complimentary service, but the second phase of the color correction. Two weeks later, on 12/Ms*** had yet another consultation with the owner of the salon, where she requested a refund. It was explained to her yet again, that her haircolor was a work in process, and would take multiple sessions to correct, and that she agreed to that before we scheduled her first appointment. And that we performed the services and steps necessary to eventually achieve the color she desired. On 1/16/2017, in a genuine effort to make Ms*** happy, the head of our color department performed her second color correction appointment. Her services were significantly discounted and Ms*** was not charged for the anourishing treatments that were applied to her hair during the visit. She appeared happy with the result when she checked out, and even came back to our salon weeks later for a haircut service We went above and beyond for Ms*** and her complaint is baseless and unreasonable Furthermore, Ms*** was charged a total of $for her first color correction, and $for the second session for a grand total of $ She was not charged over $as she falsely claims in her complaint

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
J Salon does have the dates correct but their information wrong.I did not come in for a 'color correction' the first time, nor did I not use professional salon hair colorant when coloring my own hair, just a different brand than what the useI was not happy when I left the salon the first time, I just didn't say anything, and I did contact them a few days later because I couldn't justify the $350, which included tip, spent which I still have the receipt for. J Salon did not mention this would take several sessions, and even after two it didn't look anything like what I wantedThey made an unsaid promise to "fix it" and then charge me for doing soThis is an unethical business practiceIncluding the time I spent with their consultants and damaged hair, a claim of around $that I spent in reasonable. Like many people, I don't speak out exactly when I felt wronged, it took me months to do this and to reach out to the Revdex.com for the first timeAgain, the stylist were kind to me, but their management is ruthlessI should've demanded payment back the first time I came in, instead I took a chance and ended up paying them more with more ruined hair
