The vehicle was sold on 11/*/16. We had sold the car for our customer. The extended warranty that the prior customer had was from Zurich. We provided a copy to him and the original in service date of the truck was 10/**/(See attached). The months/or 100k miles
whichever comes first was transferred correctly to my customer for $50. years which is months is 10/**/2017. The truck would have to be a to have years remaining on a warranty as the contract clearly stated a sold in and years of warranty purchased. This car was sold with a NYS Lemon Law Warranty provided by Alpine Motors Incwhich would be days/miles under the law. The extended warranty was a bonus for the customer to have this additional coverage transferred to him for $50. Nothing in our contract promised any warranty other than the standard NYS warranty that applied. We received a fax from him on 1/*/17. We tried emailing back *** as per his letterhead. He does not respond. We then faxed back to the ###-###-#### numerous times. 1/*, 1/**, and 1/**. His fax machine does not answer (see fax log) We were sending a letter to him tomorrow to respond to the fax request stating that his email and fax does not answer. See attached the response we sent him on 1/**/as he does not respond to his emails. In years of business our reputation speaks for itself. The customer was totally given the correct documents and the transfer was done correctly. years from is clearly 2017. This customer needs to retract this complaint as it is and incorrect

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted] Dear [redacted]      Alpine Motors never showed me the attachment he sent you from Zurich. In fact, I contacted Zurich about three weeks after I sent the necessary forms and fifty dollars and at that time I found out that I only had until this November, not the two years that Alpine Motors promised me. Zurich sent me the letter. You can check when Zurich when they sent me that letter.  I had faxed that letter (from Zurich) to Alpine Motors in my complaint to him. I have had one email from him and it did not even make sense. I do not accept faxes due to junk faxes but my phone works.     My experience with Alpine Motors is as follows:  I contacted Alpine Motors at the end of October in regard to the 2011 Ranger. Mike specifically told me about the two extra years on the warranty and that it was a good deal. My daughter drove me up to Wanagh (about two hours) She sat with me while Mike explained about the extended warranty  and we all went out and looked at the truck. To my surprise there was a needle in the windshield, realizing that there was a chip and they were trying to repair it. I was not informed of this but thought that it wouldn't be a big deal. Also, the middle arm rest was broken off, but he had informed me on the prior phone call and said he had ordered it from Ford. My daughter left and I started up the truck and left. Once I got home, I came into the house for a bit and then proceeded  to   go to a job that I had. The truck didn't start............dead battery. I called Mike and he was surprised but said to get another battery and that he would reimburse me. That is difficult when you depend on this vehicle. I called my insurance company and they sent me a new battery. A few days went by and the window fix was just terrible. The "fix" was right in front of the drivers line of sight. I informed Mike that I really need a new windshield. He told me to call my insurance company and to see if they would pay for it. I called the insurance company and they informed me that they would not cover a pre-existing situation. When I informed Mike of their reply, he said "why didn't you tell them it happened on the  way from the dealership". I told him I couldn't lie.........he hung up. To Mike's benefit, a few days went by and a van came to my workplace and replaced the windshield and armrest.      Again, my daughter was there when Mike mentioned the two year extended warranty.                                                      Best regards,                                                    [redacted]
