[redacted] had his car towed in after speaking with me on the phone, he explained very vaguely that he could not remove his oil dipstick and wasn't sure why. After receiving the car and having a technician inspect it we found that he had the vehicle at an oil change facility and they attempted to...

remove the oil with a suction technique through the oil dipstick (he knew what was wrong but failed to give me the whole story trying to say it was defective and was under warranty 1st lie) the facility broke off the suction hose in his oil dipstick port and then shoved the oil dipstick back in the hole causing the oil dipstick to get stuck and could not remove it.I Suggested to [redacted] we would need to remove the transmission to access the oil pan on the vehicle to gain access to remove the plastic stuck in the oil pan. [redacted] said he did not have the money for that and was going to have the car picked up. I originally gave him a quote of 1350.00 plus parts and tax. I also suggested that he speak to the other shop that did all the damage and ask them to pay for the repair (he said they won't talk to him or answer his calls)since it was there fault and to call the Revdex.com to start a case while he was waiting to save the money for the car repair.[redacted] thanked me and we hung up. A few days later (4 to be exact ) [redacted] called me and asked if I could do any better on the price of the repair, I gave him a price of 1000.00 plus parts and tax to help him out so he could get his car running again. He ok the repair a couple of days later. We started the repair a couple of days later. It took a few days to perform the repair, after finishing the repair and removing the plastic suction hose left by other facility we re-installed the transmission and installed a new dipstick assembly and went on a test drive, Everything went good on test drive.After car sat for a few hours there was a liquid under the car and we found that the a/c hose assembly port to the front of the evaporator was leaking and so we ordered a new one and installed the next day. Tech re filled the Freon to factory level and test drove, asc was working great and no leaks but there was a noise from the right front wheel. Tech put back on the lift and inspected and found the right front wheel bearing making noise and the lug nut was difficult to remove, tech ordered a new bearing assembly and installed the next day under warranty. While installing the new bearing the tech noticed that the customer was using aluminum lug nuts (customer said he uses them to reduce the weight of the car) this is not good because the shavings from the cheap Aluminum lug nuts where causing the studs to become stripped so we advised the customer to not put those back on the vehicle or he would have a problem (we cleaned all lugs and studs for free to make sure they did not become stripped).We replaced all the lug nuts with stock lug nuts. Tech re installed all the parts. the ac hose the bearing and all labor and components where taken care of under warranty no charge to the customer. After [redacted] picked up the vehicle he called me a few days later explaining that the headlights where not aligned. I told him to bring it in and I would check the alignment. [redacted] brought the car back in and the technician re aligned the headlights, [redacted] also said the center caps where scratched up and the hood was not aligned correctly and there was a scratch on his door. He proceeded to tell me how the tow truck driver scratched the caps and paid him cash out of his pocket to replace or repair the caps (I put [redacted] into a vehicle to drive Free of charge while we corrected the problems) the caps where already scratched from the years of being on the car and being removed multiple times, when we removed the caps we set the caps on the rack and never touched them again until the day we re-installed them.I told [redacted] that I didn't see any new scratches on the caps that all the caps looked old and weathered no new scratches I could see, as far as the scratch on the door was concerned I told him I would call out our scratch repair guy in the next couple of weeks when he was free and I would get the scratch repaired for him even though I don't believe it happened here and I remember seeing it the first time the car was delivered. After giving the car back to [redacted] I received a phone later that day he had locked the keys in the car and was awaiting fiat roadside to help. [redacted] called again the next day to tell me his headlights where much better but the colors of the headlights where different.After hanging up with [redacted] I went out to the tech and asked him if he had replaced a headlight bulb and he said no, I asked if he noticed anything about the color of the headlights and he said yes they are two different color bulbs. I asked again are you sure you didn't have to replace a bulb and he said again No. I checked with parts and they said if he had replaced a bulb then it would have been on the ticket as always they don't give out free parts, I told [redacted] we did not change the bulbs for any reason and he said oh ok no problem and hung up. this is the last I spoke to [redacted]. I believe [redacted] is upset because this repair cost him money that he did not have and now wants us to pay for his repairs, we took good care of [redacted] and his vehicle and gave him a very fair price to repair the car.
