At the beginning of season, J&T Lawn Service started cutting Consumer's grass and, per company practice, sent out monthly invoice by the 20th of each month with payment due by the first of the next monthThe invoice notified of services
rendered and amount due for the particular monthThe first invoice was sent and a payment received from the Consumer approximately days past due, but for amount of invoice, bringing Consumer balance to zero
J&T Lawn Service continued to provide lawn maintenance for Consumer, mailing out monthly invoicesAs each new invoice was sent and no payment for the previous balance, the new balance was listed on the invoice with the total outstanding from the prior invoices and the new balance identified at the bottomConsumer was called after the third invoice and no payment received, where Consumer stated she had not received any invoices because if she had, she would have made a paymentJ&T Lawn Service printed all outstanding invoices and mailed to ConsumerWith the 4th month invoice sent, a payment of $72, which represented services rendered in the current month, was receivedIn the following month, J&T Lawn Service mailed the new invoice and once again, called to ask if it was received, where Consumer stated yes she had received invoices, but felt she was being charged erroneously
J&T Lawn Service then printed balance statement showing invoice amounts and payments received with a total balance of $360, and spoke with Consumer at her residenceJ&T Lawn Service stated if she did not make some kind of payment, the company could put a lien against her homeConsumer then gave J&T Lawn Service a payment of $The following month J&T Lawn Service sent bill showing last amount of work done for the season, $payment from Consumer, and remaining unpaid balance for services rendered of $110, resulting in a total outstanding balance of $J&T Lawn contacted Consumer by phone while working to close books for the yearConsumer explained she felt she was erroneously charged and was not going to pay her balance of $146, even though the consumer received services from the company and still owes $
J&T Lawn Service did not receive any return mail from being undeliverable to the ConsumerJ&T Lawn has not ever been accused of erroneous charges in years of business
