Reg Case # [redacted] TO: Revdex.com This Customer Called us to pickup his Snowblower for RepairWe Charged $For Round Trip Pickup and Delivery ServiceCustomer was Told We were to weeks out on repair time and he agreed to thatWe Picked up his Snowblower on 12/2/which he left in his garage and was not home when we picked up unitUpon picking up the Snowblower the Old Varnished Gas Smell Was so Overpowering We had to Drain the gas before we could put it in our storage warehouseWhen his ticket came up in order weeks later customer was called with an estimateThe Carburetor was so varnished up with old fuel We could not Rebuild itThe carburetor would have to be replacedCustomer declined our estimate and asked for the unit to be brought back unrepairedThe customer was only charged a fee of $to diagnose his repairWe arranged to bring the Snowblower Back on Tuesday 1/3/That morning our Delivery person called in sick with the FluWe called the customer and asked if we could bring it back the next day providing that our delivery person was back to workHe was also out sick on WednesdayCustomer agreed to have Snowblower brought back on Thursday morning 1/5/Customer showed up on late Wednesday afternoon to pick up his SnowblowerWe explained what was wrong and he another gentleman loaded it up to take home and so Friday Morning 1/6/We get the Case # Complaint via our Email In Reply to the Email: First, There is no way that this Snowblower would ever have run with carburetor so gummed up with varnished gasThe odor was enough to knock you overDoes the customer Really think he should get a new Snowblower just because he declined repairs? The Snowblower was not purchased from us or do we even sell this brand? We just offered to Repair for himNo work was charged to customer, not a dime just an Est charge to diagnose problemThe $pick up and delivery charge is a roundtrip charge so customer would be entitled to 1/of that charge to be refunded which would be $Since he picked up Snowblower from our shopPlease inform Customer of this Reply Thanks [redacted] J-Tel Lawn & Snow

Customer is Welcome to take his Snowblower were ever he wants for serviceI Have been in Business for Years and have a been top rated by Revdex.comI am a *** Master Service Dealer My Mechanics are Factory trained TechniciansWhen we Get a machine in for service that Smells very strong from varnished fuel smell We will not attempt to rebuild a carburetor due to future issues including future leaking issues and safety concernsIf the Carburetor was rebuilt by another shop there is a possibility that the unit may leak in the future due to not being replaced at time of repairAgain Customer only received an estimate from us and was welcome to decline itAs far as the two extra days to bring the unit back there was no snow on the ground that could of caused any immediate inconvenienceAgain as stated on customers claim ticket the estimate fee is non refundable for any reasonThis is the fee that covers diagnosing unit for repairNo further action will be considered by us Thank You Jtel Lawn and Snow

I am rejecting this response because:Many false statements in the businesses statement. (1) I paid the business $100.00 at the time that the unit was picked-up. (2) No attempt to repair the unit until I called the business on 12/30/2016. At that time they began working on the unit. This is when they claim that the unit smelled up their garage. (3) The unit was picked-up by me five(5) days after they promised it back to me. The unit was taken immediately to another business and was repaired in one week at the cost of only $69.00. It DID NOT NEED A NEW CARBURETOR as the business claimed. (4) When I called the business and ask them could they come pick-up a snow blower for repair they said that they could. Less than five minutes later a spoke to a different person who stated that the delivery driver was still out sick and that they could not deliver my unit until the next day.  (5) The company says the unit could not be repaired and in fact it has been repaired at less price than the business was charging.The company has missed represented the facts on five separate areas.

probably a part that has been in stock for a long time and had a price on it of $19.99  The customer came in a second time and wanted to order another chain. The chain is $29.99. I do not stock this chain so a $5.50 freight charge would be incurred.   Ref:   $29.99  Chain           $3.00 Tax           $5.50 Shipping Cost             --------------------------------------            $38.49             - $5.56  Credit from previous order               $32.93 (  customers figure is $33.47?)       My landscaper said is that the best price you can do for my friend? I said give me $30.00 Cash!  When the customer came to return the chain he wanted $35.56. I said, Why would I give you $35.56 when I sold you the chain for a discounted price of $30.00. We arranged to bring the Snowblower Back on Tuesday 1/3/2017. That morning our Delivery person called in sick with the Flu. We called the customer and asked if we could bring it back the next day providing that our delivery person was back to work. He was also out sick on Wednesday. Customer agreed to have Snowblower brought back on Thursday morning 1/5/17. Customer showed up on late Wednesday afternoon to pick up his Snowblower.
