The customer is requesting that we give him some money back for a job that another company did for him We never received any money from him [redacted] hired us to repair his refrigerator because it was a warranty issue He called him a different company and had to pay for it because he went outside of his warranty

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/07) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Property M Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @jvcontractinginc.com Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] rented the home from August 2015 to December 2015. First of all the security deposit paid was only... $300. All repairs were made within a timely manner except for the tree situation. It was noted and was being looked into, however it required a tree removal service company to remove the tree in order to prevent any damage to the home Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] was in as well as the neighboring property. We were notified about the vents shortly before the [redacted] 's called to let me know that they had moved. Ms. [redacted] was never told that her deposit would not be refunded. I explained to Ms. [redacted] that we normally require a 30 day notice before a tenant moves as indicated in the signed lease and that we would have to determine if there would be any repairs needed to the home, and that I would have to speak with Mr. [redacted] , the owner of JV Contracting/Rentals before returning any deposit. After discussing all of the above issue with Mr. [redacted] he has decided to return $200 of the deposit The portion withheld was used to make necessary repairs to the home. Respectfully, [redacted] Property Manager

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: their service man was not smart enough to connect the water lines correctly. I should be punished for their negligence !!!!!!!!!! Sincerely, [redacted]

This situation was never brought to the attention of anyone in the office, if it had been it would have been handled without conflict. A refund will be given to the customer for the amount that was requested.

I am rejecting this response because: I was NEVER notified of the price increase of the partAll I was told was that the first part that had come in was in the right box, but the wrong part was inside of the box(Told to me over the phone by ***, the original tech)I then contacted *** from JV and he told me that they would reorder the part, but there was no mention of a price increase, and I never stated "It would be cheaper than a new air conditioner" as he claims I didHe also told me that he told Jennifer to call me to tell that the second part had come in and there was a price increase and she was to set up the appointmentShe said NOTHING about a price increaseAnd when I tried to return the call to set up the second appointment, no one from JV would talk to me, let alone even answer the phone or return my callI had to once again call the original merchandiser to find out any informationWhich they found out for me that the tech was already on his way to my residenceNow, why wasn't I informed of this by JV? JV charged me up front to work on the unit, and made no effort to expedite the service for which I had already paid forThis all started on July 19th, 2016, and wasn't resolved until August 1st, 2016. I had to make several phone calls to the customer service department of the original merchandiser from where the unit was purchasedAlso, when *** gave me the option to keep the part or have it removed from the unit, he refused to refund the cost of the repair had I chose to reject the part. How does one think I, as a customer, would feel, having paid for a service and not getting any resultsAs far as any cussing and swearing, *** from JV was no angel eitherThat's what happens when a person gets lousy service
Sincerely,
*** ***

I did call Mr*** and told him the part $The supplier sent us the wrong partMy tech came back and told me it was the wrong capacitorI immediately ordered the new part and I did call Mrand tell him the price was $and he said that’s fine and go ahead and do it because it is still
cheaper than the air conditionerI did apologize about thisAs soon as the part came in I sent another tech out to put the part inHe was fine all the way up until he had to pay for itHe called me cussing and yellingI told him either he could pay for it or I will have my tech remove itI tried to be professional with himI am not willing to refund him the price difference in the part, because I did apologize and made him aware of the price different and he agreed to it

Good Afternoon, I would like to appeal a complaint filed against JV Contracting, ID ***.We had received a work order from Ms***'s warranty company (American Residential Warranty). We contacted Ms*** on 3/27/in regards to her Samsung Washers door not
opening. On 3/29/we sent a technician out to diagnose the unit, per her warranty this customer had a $deductible owed to us ( JV Contracting) on our arrivalOur technician collected the $via credit cardThe technician then diagnosed the unit needing a new latch. We ordered the latch on 3/29/and received it from our supplier on 3/30/We tried contacting the customer on 3/30/and 4/2/to let her know her parts had arrivedMs*** called into the office on 4/2/to setup an appointment for 4/3/between the hours of am and pm. The technician arrive at 9:am on 4/3/and replaced the defective latchAfter installing the new part, the customer mentioned a drainage issueOur technician took a look at the problem for Ms*** and suggested having the drain hose replaced. I contacted Ms***'s warranty company (*** *** Warranty) to see if that would be covered under her warranty. They advised it would not be covered and it would be the customers responsibility to repair the issue. We never heard back from Ms*** on if she wanted to move forward with the repair, that wasn't covered under her warranty, closed her work order out on 4/19/18.Thank You, *** ***
