Review: We rented a dumpster from this company. It was explained that there was a $550.00 security deposit on the dumpster that would be refunded in part when the dumpster was picked up and the actual weight, charged at $55.00 per ton, from the landfill was known. There was also to be a $220.00 delivery/pick up fee included in the deposit. The security deposit was never charged to my account at time of the dumpster being delivered. I did have an issue with my credit card but the company was immediately made aware of it. On August 26th or 27th I requested that the dumpster be picked up on Friday Aug. 30th. They picked up the dumpster up on Aug 28th. On Aug 29th the entire $550.00 was charged to my account. Repeated requests for a bill and the refund portion of the $550.00 has gone on since. I even visited the company office and personally requested the information and refund. The Lady I spoke to was very nice but said that the bills and weights had not been submitted yet by her boss, who owns several other businesses and had just purchased another one. That was Sept. 25th or 26th. We are now over a month since the truck picked up the dumpster and I have not heard anything from the company since I talked to that secretary who also said she would look into it and get back to me. It was a large dumpster but the vast majority of items put into it were light. By my calculation I should owe them no more than $220 for the delivery/pickup and a max of 3 ton which would add another $165 for a total of $385.00 leaving a $165.00 refund minimum.Desired Settlement: Money is tight and I would just like my refund back with an original weight slip from the landfill and the receipt for the entire transaction.Had they taken the deposit at the original time of the dumpster delivery and refunded the amount due back in a timely manor I would not have an issue with them. But,now I am wondering what they are doing with my money and if I will even get an honest weight billed I half expect that they will say I owed the entire deposit amount.
