Mrs [redacted] contacted me for a bid to help her with her kitchenWhen I showed up she had used cabinets all over her house ,no sink ,exposed studs where she said a friend tried to help her do some repairsShe informed me that she had been washing dishes in her sink for weeks and wanted to know if I could help put her kitchen together with the used cabinetsThese cabinets were not made for her home nor was there a layoutI told her that I would see what I could do to help and I would draw a layout that might work for her and see if she was okay with it I was also informed that she was working with a budgetI took that into consideration and do a layout which would work for her space and her needs and she was okay with it and I gave her a discounted price from what I would normally charge for installing cabinetsI got the job and started and in trying to fit the cabinets in the allotted space and give her as much cabinet usage as possible I overlooked the conversation about adding a dishwasher which she didn't have in the first place and still haven't boughtWhen she brought that to my attention I immediately corrected it and pulled the cabinet out and switch them around again to a different layout which she was pleased and excited about per her email to me when she got home and saw what was doneOne of her concerns was the height of the microwave over the stove she wanted to make sure there was enough room and it didn't feel crowded so I listen to her concern and put her microwave where she liked it at what height she would like it and then proceeded to install the rest of the upper cabinets to match the cabinet above the microwaveAfter installing the cabinets I spent a few more days finishing up the drywall work and some other things that she had made and she was very pleased and paid me in fullIt wasn't until two weeks later that I got a letter in the mail saying that she was dissatisfied that was my first Contact from her no phone call no anything and it caught me by surprise because she was excited and happy about everything that I should pay meApparently she had another contractor in there to talk to her about countertops which I gave her a bit for but she hadn't accepted yet and he told her her cabinets were higher than it is at that point that apparently she decided she didn't like them and sent the letter but I hung them where she wanted them according to her request about her microwave I did nothing wrong I did with the customer asked and that's my side of itAs far as the few pieces of drywall scrap that we tossed on her junk pile in the backyard I offered to go pick those up and told her to let me know when would be good and I have not heard from herIf you have any further questions please feel free to contact me 217-553-thank you
