Ms*** contacted us thru a referral which we responded with an appointment and did a damage assessment on her roofShe ask us to meet her Insurance company to help get the Insurance claim approvedOnce we got the claim approved for her we wrote up a contract just like the Insurance company
scope of work reflectedWe reviewed the contract which reflected a $discount, she printed and signed her name under Acceptance of Proposal/Contract for her homeMs*** signed a valid contractMs*** picked out a shingle color and told us what day she would be back in town, all of which is reflected on the contractShe emailed us asking to back out of the contract because she found a cheaper priceAt this point it had been days since she had signed the contract as we had already worked with the Insurance company, delivered shingles and scheduled our crew
I informed her that it was passed the day grace period and we were to invested to back out at this pointThe day cancellation period is clearly listed as a provision on the contract
The roof was installed as agreed and the ceiling water damage repairs were completed
Ms*** has paid $to date and $is now due
We have proudly been in business for years helping thousands of customers in our community and as we did Ms***We regret in advance that we can not make everyone happy

Yes, I signed a Proposal/Contract with them, NOT just a Contract. They did not tell me I had days to cancel and they also knew I was going to be out of the country for the next days. I did NOT schedule a date with them to begin working nor did I schedule a date with them to deliver materials to my houseThey asked if I wanted to schedule a date and I told them NO repeatedly and that I would call them when I got back in the country. I told them I did not want any work being done on my house while I was out of the country. I also told them I didn't want any work being done on my house until I received the check from the insurance company. I texted *** *** on July 26th when I got back in the country and told him I had changed my mind and was going to go with someone elseHe responded the next morning (July 27th) and told me I had to call *** Avery and ask him because I had signed a contract. I called and left a voicemail for *** to call me back. He called me back and that is when the deal turned ugly. He REFUSED TO LET ME SPEAK AND HE YELLED AT ME THE ENTIRE PHONE CONVERSATION. As I said in my original complaint, and as I also stated to *** when all of this was taking place, had *** treated me in a RESPECTFUL manner and said to me "ma'am, I'm sorry but you signed a contract with us so you will have to follow through with it," I would have understood and that would have been the end of it. However, this is not what happened. He called and YELLED at me and THREATENED me that he was going to put a lien on my property and sue meMy co-workers could hear him yelling at me through the phone. Not only did *** Avery call and YELL and THREATEN me, he is now lying about the events that took place. I signed the PROPOSAL/Contract, with no mention of having a three day cancellation policy on July 16, and left the country from July 17-26, which his sales person, Nate, knew about. On July 27th, before 8am, I had someone knocking on my door with delivery of materials that I knew nothing about. Also, in ***'s yelling on the telephone, he said his company was scheduled to work on my house on July 27thIf that was true then why did just materials get delivered on the 27th and no one showed up to work on it? When *** responded to my text the morning of the 27th, he didn't mention that materials were being delivered to my house or that people were scheduled to work on my house that day. I find it weird that in the midst of *** YELLING at me, he said people were supposed to be working on my house the 27th but his sales person never mentioned it to me once that this was the date picked out to work on my house. Not only that, *** forgot the little fact that in order to do the work on my house, I had to be there to let the painter into my house so I would have had to know about the date in advance and planned to be there for this work to take place. My issue is with *** and how he treats his customers. He may think that because I am a young, female, he can YELL and THREATEN me, but that is not the caseAlso, he is lying about other things as well. He is really showing the kind of character and integrity he has as a business owner.
