On Jan30, *** *** and her boyfriend *** *** *** purchased a Nissan Maxima for $+ TT and LThey test drove the car and were clearly explained and understood this was a used car and ALL SALES were AS- ISLater that evening I received a call from my salesman and was
told *** *** and *** *** *** had car trouble and he was going to assist themTwo hours later he called to say they weren't at the location or answering they're phoneWe heard nothing from them the rest of the weekend and they live two blocks from my car lot. Monday Feb2, *** *** *** came to my office in the late afternoon driving the MaximaWe discussed what had occurred and said he understood the car was AS-IS, but could I do anything for him Even though he had no receipts and I could not find any oil leak etcand they bought the car AS-IS, I told *** *** *** I would pay half the cost of the repairs He agreed shook my hand and leftThe next day *** *** came to my office with her brother and his friend*** *** said nothing but the two men demanded her money back and proceeded to threaten meI refused but explained the agreement *** *** ***, *** *** and I had made about the so called repairs to the Maxima.
After the situation cooled down I told *** *** I would apply money to another car and wanted her to be happy with er purchase if possible Several hours later she and her brother decided on a Pontiac Bonneville which was $more than the MaximaI agreed and *** *** and *** *** *** came to my office the next day with the Maxima, but no receipts for any repairs etcI applied the $to the Pontiac and took back the Maxima*** *** and *** *** *** thanked me and left my office very happy I never heard another word until I received your letterI was shocked and really upset knowing that I went over and above to try to satisfy my customersI contacted *** *** and asked her to explain why she had done this She apoligized and had no explanation but assured me she would contact you and retract her complaintI have a small business and take pride in treating people honest and fairPlease follow up with me, I don't deserve to be on your negative business review
